I joined the Bitcointalk forum in 2017, here I learned what it really means digital currency (Bitcoin), now I have a little understanding of the world of crpyto thank you Bitcointalk Forum
Me too, I joined here 2 years ago also but I wonder why your rank is still a Member? Are you not active and just visiting here for fun?

Actually, the year I discovered bitcoin is the same as the year I enetered here. From the eyes of the others, 2 years is just a small thing compare to the veterans here; yeah! It's true but I at least I'm now more knowledgeable and able to uplift my way of living compared before. So for those newbies and "newbie-like" memebers out there, do not give up. Study harder and push harder, I know that someday you will become great even not inside this forum but in crypto world itself Smiley.

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
ON april 17 i will be celebrating my 3 years in crypto and all of this success i owe to the” great Man” Satoshi Nakamoto the father of cryptocurrency the creator of Bitcoin.

Waiting for another more years here to see the total success of virtual money over physical and may result to another big profit in the near future

Clueless!
As to making coin...I am now out of mining and am 'attic mining' ...selling stuff in the attic I would otherwise 'die with' and putting it into crypto.

selling old mining gear for btc works, anything to increase your stash works actually.

being such a small time miner (a dozen gpus max and a few BFL fpga/asics) i have kept all of it, except a few gpus ive given to friends. but my HD4850, HD6870, and HD5830.. those 3 cards (well actually the latter two, the 4850 was just a test to see if mining worked) made so much btc i will forever keep them in a place of honor. they changed our lives. ive considered gold plating them, or at least the shrouds. unreal that those 3 cards still account for a large percentage on my current btc holdings.

and when i bought the 6870 (the 1st card for real mining) and showed my wife her words were "WHAT you paid $400 for THAT?Huh " heh yes i did. and now she doesnt blink an eye when i spend on gear.

yep...knc titan cubes and Jupiter KNC BTC miner and got a few things given to me like BFL monarchs...figured they'd make pretty good 'shelf art' sometime in the future...

will be quite retro tech and 'trendy' when they put me in the Nursing Home someday...(knock wood I live that long)

Amazing. 54% joined Bitcointalk in 2016 and in the earlier years. So I assume these guys have already made a lot of profit and are probably holding to some coins for another possible bullrun!

So, 46% are probably underwater if they didn't sell during the parabolic climb.  Tongue

I am one of those who joined in 2016 this is probably one the best year, the best year was 2017 I'm lucky to have seen Bitcoin reaches it's all-time high, not only Bitcoin, almost 90% of the coins are dumping, it was cryptocurrency's banner year and people are hoping it could be surpassed.

I registered on this forum in 2014 but I heard about bitcoin and this forum at least 1 year before, around 2013.
In the beginning I was skeptical and didn't join right away.
When I heard how much my friend earned here I decided to give a try and to join finally.
It was great decision for me Smiley

Today will make it 1year, 3months and roughly 11days that have been on this forum. Although I first got to know about bitcointalk around q3 of 2017, but I was a novice to bitcoin then and never knew the importance of this platform. It was when I got to meet a friend that explained some important things about this forum that made me consider giving it a trial which I must say really opened my eyes to a whole lot of things, in money wise, networking wise and educational wise.

I joined in February 2013, this was also the point where I started to use Bitcoin. Just got in early enough to be able to profit a little bit (not much) from the April 2013 bubble. Wink I had installed the Bitcoin-qt software in 2011 already, but due to a hard drive crash I lost about 0,35 BTC from faucets (which was worth almost nothing then). I think I even registered in this forum in 2011 but I have no idea what my username was back then ...

According to the posts in this thread and the poll results until now, it seems the community is still very well mixed (in terms of "antiquity"). I like that even after the 2017 bubble still some real veterans are here, despite all the problems of this forum (e.g. bad accessibility on mobile devices, spam, etc.).

Im going on my second year in cryptocurrency in just few momths more and I admit that I still need more advice and tips for people in the forum to have a better decision on buying or selling coins. Two years is still not enough to become this so called experts. Need to read more.

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?

Almost 4 years here! 😁 and i'm glad to say that most of my basic knowledge in trading and crypto in general, i've learned here.  I've been in around 5 or 6 camapigns during that time and i would've had around 2 to 3 full bitcoins by now had i not gotten myself amused by crypto gambling early on lol 😆
