Sometimes it takes hard work and dedications to raise up a child, we all grow up and we know how we struggle true life and that makes us to be grounded due to what we allowed ourselves to pass through and the training we receive along the way up, this is why we can only blame ourselves as parents first before blaming the child, because training up a child sometimes goes beyond provisions and shelter, both father and mother need to be available in physical terms to give the child the early up bringing.
But parents of owner days chose to chase after the money and leaving they children to be trained and thought by a third party, which will definitely not be good for the child, if not how can a child who is not endurge in extravagant lifestyle have reason to steal, this is sad for the young child, at this stage, it hard to control the child since I believe that he may have passed the age.

The child is probably looking for attention and through gambling, he found the comfort and attention that he is looking for. Some say that the child needs more discipline, but the way I see it, that child only needs more attention from his family. This is a common story that happens for many fathers, mothers and families that have one addicted family member. It's sad that these addicted gamblers don't understand yet the hardship of life and all they do is about their vice to gamble from the money that they do not own. Soon, they're going to understand the importance of owning their own money and working hard for it and they can't just picked up on the trees or streets and that's why they will soon see the hardship of their parents when they have been stealing it to them for so very long.

This is consider a big failure for the family if a child steals from his family just to sustain his addiction, as a parents you only want the best for the family for him to become a good citizen of the country, but if the child becomes a thief and addicted to gambling he will soon become a menace to the society and its only a matter fo time before he commits a bigger crime to sustain his addiction.
This should be stopped even to the point of forcibly getting into the child to the rehabilitation facility just to cure his addiction, or he will become a scourge to the society and tarnish the name of the family.

There must be a reason why that kid can gamble continuously. Even if the father knows that he gambles, he doesn't do anything about it but only talks about it and is sad. I believe you need to do something to help your kid because we all know that the kid won't help himself. It's important that you gather yourself into helping the person you love especially if it's your off spring. You need to understand that it's going to take you effort to help him but it should be done if you want the kid to grow into a fine adult. Letting him continue to steal from you and gamble wouldn't make him to a better person.

Addicts have different effect especially to their family and personally I would never do that to steal from my family even if I get addicted in gambling as that's a big sin, you betrayed the trust of your father.
You can't beat your chest to say you would not steal from your family even if you are addicted, of course that is what makes you an addict. An addict does things that they wouldn't do ordinary if they were not acting on any impulse. So if you are not addicted, you may quite well control yourself but not when you are addicted. Many armed robbers wish to stop but because they have such addiction then it takes the grace and third party effort and influence to stop people who are addicted, nothing short of that because an addicttion can lead you into doing an act you won't do if you were not acting under that addiction.
Maybe I was already addicted once but it wasn't a severe kind, so I wasn't able to steal from my family but I really have no plan. I'd rather steal from other people than stealing from my own family, we are not even rich so I'm kinda making the problem worst financially and I don't want them to feel that I'm abusing them. I know some people do that but I won't and I'm hoping it will not happen to me.
