It seems like I can feel the weight and brokenness of the father as I read your story. I think it's not too late for their child to recover from gambling addiction and rebuild their lives. I'm thinking, are they a family-oriented bunch? If not, perhaps they lack open communication and spend quality time together, which could lead the child to unhealthy habits. If the father needs guidance or assistance, they could consider seeking help from rehab to support them through counseling. Sometimes, they don't choose to become addicted, but they can choose to get help.

I guess, it's a matter of disciplining the child that leads you to this kind of thing, tolerating it the for the first time is understandable but not doing anything to deal with it the second time this happens, it's going to be a big problem now. Either something needs to be done or just continue tolerating the behavior, I think that in this case, it's acceptable to do some form of punishment to the kid because this isn't just any misdemeanor, this is a blatant crime already and if that kid can do it to his own family, imagine the things that he can do to other people just to satisfy that addiction. If you were to do the disciplining and punishing part though, you need to be ready about the high chance that the kid will resent you for what you're doing to him and either you fold on it or you carry on and do it for his sake because as the saying goes here in my country, it's better to cut the devil's horn while it's still short and soft.

It's really sad to hear the stories of parents whose children are addicted to gambling, which makes it even more difficult for the parents because they have to bear the burden that their children suffer as a result of gambling addiction. Indeed, the effects of addiction can have a bad impact on a person's life if they have fallen into it because it is quite difficult to overcome. The only way to stop is not to give him access to continue gambling when his child has no more money. My advice as a parent is that we must be able to be firm if we child has exceeded such limits. If you can't be firm, the child will continue to do things that are detrimental family.

A gambler becomes so addicted that he decides to steal from his home. Although this matter is very difficult for that family but I want to share here with everyone that I heard from a father tomorrow about his child. How sad is that father who earns hard all day and takes money for his children just to keep them well. But when a child becomes most addicted to gambling, he steals his father's hard earned money and starts gambling in his own home. I heard this story from a father yesterday that his son steals money from home if he is not at home then whatever plan he makes steals his money and takes it to gamble it is a very sad story.  How sad it is that the father is telling people about his child's gambling with such sadness. So baboon how much the person has become addicted to gambling that he steals money from his family and gambles and loses. I only shared this incident here because a family must be most aware of their child or else they will surely become addicted to gambling like this person. Every family has a responsibility to keep their children well, so everyone must always attract your children to the good side so that they don't get into gambling dens.
