yes you are right, 2018 is a very bad year for bounty hunters because most of the bounties only give very low value, for 2018 I only get less than $ 300 every 2 months but when in 2017 I can get $ 600- $ 1000 in one month
like you said, this a bad time for bounty hunter, the allocation for bounty is low, bounty time is longer and the main problem many scammer are coming participate in bounty

Unfortunately, bounty earnings are not like before. The earnings are so little now compared to 2017. However, you can still earn a good amount depending on the project and the campaigns you do. Signature and translation campaigns pay higher than social media campaigns.
The more you work, the more you get paid and it solely depends on the success of the campaign you join and the market value. The highest I've ever made from a bounty campaign is $1000 and that was early last year before things went down drastically.
You can earn unlimited amounts depending on how much work are you willing to put into it. Now, for the average guy out there it is simply better not to do any bounty and look for something else.

This year is not so good and sometimes do not earn in bounty even received rewards. 2018 is going to end but only one campaign worth of something that give good profit, other projects extend and took long to distribute rewards. Before, it is good and I earn handsome amount because coin has good value and bitcoin has high value.
my average was 20-100$ i get super lucky if i recieve 100$ per campaign to be honest, its worst now back when i started ( February and march ) i recieve atleast 400$ per campaign now you only get 100$ below well cause probably back then ETHEREUM was 800-1k$ so the price gone down 4 folds
hopefully nothing will happen what we hope right, most likely even though it happens we also remain determined that we don't want it to happen
For me I didn't count how much equivalent in the bounty tokens that I have accumulated. As long as I have earn a good bounty rewards. And besides I am a long term holder. I don't care much of the price right now. So I just fill my bags with tokens that has low value, but huge value in the future.
Amount of earnings are decreasing periodically due to the effect of the bear market and increasing number of bounty participants. No specific amount to bounty earnings it is all a game of work and some element of luck. Earnings can be from 0 to over $1000 all depends on nature of bounty, participation, forum rank and performance
