In my opinion, it's not an extremely high risk investment but not a low one either. It's somewhere in the middle. It's also depending on the period you are planning to invest, currently, the price had quite a few pumps, while I was quite considerate if it was safe to buy at $2900, now it's at $4000 in just a few weeks.
For me there is no risk in bitcoin investment because the bitcoin ia very potential in the market. If you invest your money to the bitcoin, for sure you will gain a big amount of profit.

The only risk is that, there's always a chance that Bitcoin's value will decrease in a short period of time but it will eventually come back to normal. You may wait for the value to become low but you also have an option to buy now because Bitcoin's price is still increasing at this moment. I have my own opinion and that is investing in bitcoin have less risk than investing in other coins or things. It will give you regular return if done trading or invested in any casino and with time its value will increase too.

You have posted this thread as on April 23 this year when the price of bitcoin was below 2K. Just look at the chart right now and you will see the price is rose almost double what you had before. So your 3-4 BTC are almost 6-8 by now and thats the beauty of bitcoin really. I hope you really has invested at that time and now enjoying the money easily earned with bitcoin power.

Depends on how long you intend to hold it. If you intend to hold it for the long-term, it shouldn't have too much risk. the price will go up and down, but will probably be in an upward trend in the next few years.
There's a lot of risk in BTC.. that's why it is an investment. the market is volatile. the price is increasing and projected to boost at the end of the year. If your money worth 3-4 btc is just sleeping on your bank and your mindset is for high investment, then go for it. Just remember, don't put money you can't afford to lose.. Happy Investing!!!

Bitcoin prices can rise high and also fall dramatically and will be risky for those who invest in addition bitcoin is also not regulated by the central government then it is at a very big risk to instability. Its value is not determined by the authority but based on the purchasing capacity of the network. You may end up losing some big money if you buy at a high price.
