Let us not forget ETH fell to around $90 or so recently before the price started rising towards $2000. Nobody knows where it will end but if more and more countries make use of crypto illegal then the whole thing becomes pointless so maybe 10 years from now crypto will be state controlled and anything else will be illegal - who knows?

There is not a single person on earth that can make a decision on what will happen 10 years from now with 100% precision, it is obvious that we are going to have to live in a situation where we will have to live with just predictions and guess and assumptions because that's all we have. That's why I feel like we need to realize we are just making stuff up here and none of it could be real, everyone could be wrong.

Only thing I can predict is that ethereum will be higher, it will go up, that is all that I can make from the current momentum. I mean crypto all goes higher in the long term, unless they are a horrible coin of course but the good ones all go up in long periods, and we are talking about 10 years now so that means we are talking about a very very very long term, which is why I think it is quite obvious that we should be making a profit if we buy right now, will that be 2x or 100x who knows?

That's certainly true, mate. Competition is getting fierce each day as new smart contract platforms emerge. Right now, there are many alternatives that are superior than Ethereum in terms of transaction capacity. There's nothing stopping ETH rivals from getting increased adoption in the mainstream world. What they lack is developer interest, as most developers are still relying on ETH for their own creations. It's why ETH is still the #1 platform in the world, even with high fees and slow transaction confirmation times in play. That could change in the future if ETH doesn't scale in time. How much it will be worth in a decade from now will greatly depend on how fast developers roll out new upgrades on the Blockchain. Don't expect ETH to hit $10k anytime soon if developers continue to delay upgrades.

Nonetheless, we could say that the real value of ETH remains a mystery. Demand is certainly high right now, in part because of the "De-Fi" hype. I don't think the hype will last for 10 years, but if it does, then we could expect ETH's prices to be a lot higher than what they are right now. $100k per coin is only a dream considering that there's no hard cap in ETH's supply. As long as this is the case, prices will stall because of inflation. Luckily, the ETH dev team announced a new "EIP" which aims to make ETH scarcer by burning gas fees. If it becomes adopted by the network, then ETH will soar like crazy on the market. Knowing that 10 years is a lot in crypto land, anything could happen. Just my opinion

Ten years from now the value of ETH will be much higher as the price of Bitcoin rises, so does the value of ETH. As the value of the currency increases the amount of fees will become higher but if the amount of investment is higher the fees will help in the transaction the price of bitcoin will increase with the price if ethereum goes much higher bitcoin will double its price. Invest and wait if the price goes up the currencies will become valuable to the traders.

Bitcoin will still be the first even if ETH goes more than $10,000, I'm positive that ETH will go that high especially if they solve the high transaction fee which they were saying this July. The waiting is really going to make it forever but I'm sure if you still hold it up to that period, it would be worth. Now imagine what other token's price could be if ETH reached that ATH.

ETH will go insane and very expensive in the 10 years ahead, based on my predictions, i think ETH will reach $30k for sure,
there's no way that ETH will go down, why? because ETH is the most quite stable in the cryptocurrencies space,
the price and the volume keep growing, it's not impossible for ETH to beat BTC in the future.

Maximum of 20k if the 2.0 version did not help the progress of the transaction fees.

but 1 thing for me is sure , this coin will never replace Bitcoin .

Well we are equally insane, many people are skeptical about its possible future growth, and the problems that ETH has been criticized all the time are solved. The long-term view for 10 years for ETH is modest $10000, and we'll wait and see what happens.

In ten years for ethereum to be worth only $ 10,000? Hopefully it will cost at least $ 100,000. Of course, no one can even indicate the approximate price of ethereum in ten years. It is impossible to predict how the economy of states will develop and what path the development of cryptocurrency will take. Much can change in ten years. We see how fast new altcoins sometimes develop, so any changes can occur in the cryptocurrency market in ten years.

The legacy system won't go away in 10 years. State agents have too much power and they will want their share of wealth coming from cryptos. Expect the switch to happen in no less than 30 years.

I think after 10 years I won't ask people how much money we have, but instead we should ask questions like:
How many bitcoins are there?
How much ETH?
....
Those are the questions we should have for each other in the future, because I'm not sure if $ will be worth it by then.

It actually did lost momentum a bit, not a lot but a bit. During the last bull run, binance managed to go from 40 dollars to 340 dollars whereas ethereum was moving from 1.8k to 2k, that was it, and when the crash happened binance was still waaaay above what it used to be, it was insanely high, whereas ethereum dropped to negative to 1.5k, so basically ethereum already lost some of its momentum to binance and there is no rewind of that.

I have to say that unless ETH manages to drop that fee structure, we can even eventually see ethereum losing its place in second rank because of how terrible the fee's are and that is when we will actually start to do something. July is supposedly the period for the next step to make it lower, but I feel like we can't really make that work if we wait until July, we need it a lot earlier, we needed it as in past tense.

From the moment I read this post, I am figuring out what the market will be like in the next 10 years? But not thinking about the future of what ETH will be? I am not sure about the future of this market, what I am feeling about it is really great for the future, in a positive thought after learning all the information I know, I predict ETH will cost $10000.

In my perspective, I think ETH can go up to $ 10,000 - $ 15,000

because the growth of ETH itself has been extraordinary so far, it is not impossible that the price of ETH will skyrocket to that number.

yes that's right, even the costs that must be incurred for each transaction can reach $ 10- $ 40. I even sent a token with the smallest shipping fee I had to wait 6 hours before I could complete the transaction. I think eth2.0 still can't solve this problem

If the Transaction fee of Ethereum continues to be like this ? I'm afraid that ETH will Lose The Momentum and may fall down from the rank as there are many platforms now with very low fee that has been promoting by many gambling sites and also trading Exchanges.

But according if how much the value of Ethereum in the next 10 years? this is depending in how the progress of 2.0 version will succeed , But the highest it can get is i believe 10,000$ .

As the time goes by many of us didn't expect that the crypto currency become so popular. As a member here in crypto currency community way back 2017 the value of ETH is just $100 or more and it's just a 4 years ago how much more in 10 years. Well, it's just my own perspective but we have our own right to test our patience to invest and wait until it will gain a huge profit.

Ethereum coin is potential coin and we all know that this coin is going to rise the value very high but after 10 years we do not the exact value for the ether. But I hope the price is same like in bitcoin who is the price is very high even 20k dollars is enough for me for the highest value for the ethereum because it will gives you a lot of profit in the future and possible for you to become rich in the future if you investing to this coin.

10 years? That's a very long time. Bitcoin just passed 10 years and it turned out great. I'm not sure about Ethereum in 10 years though. Competition is real.

I think in 10 years we will either see Ethereum in over 100k mark or zero. I don't think it will float around like now.
