Despite the "De-Fi" hype coming to a halt, Ethereum's popularity has been increasing at a fast pace. The price per ETH is certainly a lot higher than what it was 1-2 years ago. New "De-Fi" projects and tokens are being built on the Ethereum blockchain, even with the high fees and slow transaction confirmation times. If ETH keeps rising in popularity, I'd imagine prices would be a lot higher than what they are right now. Who knows what will happen ten years from now? A full-fledged PoS version of ETH would've become a reality by then, enabling greater transaction capacity and a slight reduction in fees.

I'm starting to wonder, how much will ETH be worth (in USD) in a decade? Will it be $5k, $10k, or $15k per coin? Based on your predictions, why do you think ETH will reach such prices? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
The development of Defi this year opens a new trend in the future.  In addition to scaling and interoperability together, it can accommodate the appropriate changing needs in the future.  ethereum 2.0 is the perfect up-to-date destination to improve user visualization and productivity.  I freely predict that ETH price in the next 10 year will be 2 5k $.  I am a fan, longtime follower of ETH.
I think development of DeFi project have ended with many coin lower price and make investor back to ehereum again, maybe any reason why make trader and investor dislike with DeFi coin because only famous few months and not consistent on higher price, so give chance for ethereum back to higher price, ten years later I have prediction with ethereum keep going on to the higher price and many investor will get much profit.

If everything continue with more developments especially the gas fees, it's not impossible for ETH to reached that value after 10 years, We all witnessed how this project jumped to this level and continue to keep as 2nd top crypto asset.

In ten years from now, i think ETH will be worth about $10.000 - $12.000, because ETH itself are really good coins and the price of ETH is very stable and as you can see the volume of ETH is already $179,892,709,214, so i think ETH will keep going strong even in ten years.

ten years is too long for the target standard, everything can happen between those times. technology moves very fast and keeps advancing endlessly, there might be something new coming up in another few years. if cryptocurrency still exist in decade later, there is a possibility for ethereum itself to reach $50.000 even surpassing this level.
when virtual digital becomes something common, digital currency will be highly valued than fiat. I am confident with this.

Very ambitious but like what you have said, everything is possible if the developments and the participations of more investors and end users to this project, ETH value still uncertain, will depend from how community supports and adoptions will take place after such period of time.

There is no straight answer to this question, The answer is hidden behind " How fast Ethereum Developers team will be able to deliver ETH 2.0 which is being delayed again and again. I am afraid the current situation of Huge Gas and Transaction fee has forced new/old projects  projects to switch to Binance , Heco, Dot . ADA and many other networks who are offering better service at very low price. These networks ( particularly Binance chain ) are going to give tough time to Ethereum and most likely they will take huge market share of Ethereum if the issue of scalability is not resolved soon.  As well as supply of Ethereum is unlimited, when we combine all aforementioned factors, I think $5K will be too optimistic price in coming years.

It all depends on the coming Ethereum upgrade that will try to lower the transaction fees and the confirmation, many developers are shifting to other chains, and many traders are shifting to other coins, the fees are eating their profit, I stopped trading in the Uniswap because of the huge fees that my transactions are incurring.
The current problem on ethereum is that it is true what you say that the fees are too large, even if i say it is out of the ordinary. It is not known that ethereum can do this and many have protested but there has been no significant change.

true, it is clear that many developers are looking for other alternatives for cheaper alternative fees so that what they get is not used up just to pay fees. and it seems that many have responded to this as BNB has started to do this and there is a possibility that others will be followed. clearly will harm ethereum itself in the future.

Just a suggestion, don't use Uniswap which costs too high even though it might be very easy to run and not too complicated, but if the price is high, what for. if you do it through metamask it will feel even more expensive.

Depend how bitcoin price to know what will happen with ethereum, if bitcoin stable and going up above $100,000 ten years later maybe ethereum can raise above $5,000 or more, almost when bitcoin raise to higher price always ethereum have chance to growing up, but when bitcoin have lower price ethereum always on lower price. Now looking situation how bitcoin become most stable coin and could be higher price always to make ethereum keep going up.

Crypto market is full of surprises and you can never predict the price of any coin with 100% accuracy. ETH might reach $10k to $15k if it is adapted by major institutions and it keep on updating their block chain. When you compare the price of bitcoin 10 years earlier and now, you can see the humongous increase in value and if same thing happened to ETH the you can imagine the price it is going to be traded in 10 years.

It is quite difficult to guess. The market is developing every day. There will be great developments in a period of 10 years. ETH can manage to increase in value as long as it continues to follow innovations.

Yeah. The crypto market is surely unpredictable. No one can tell how it'll behave 10 years from now. For what I know, a decade is a lot of time in the crypto/Blockchain space. Many new and exciting things could happen that'll make ETH bigger, better, and stronger than ever. As long as developers continue to deliver as intended, ETH will be able to last for a long time. Who knows if ETH reaches a price of $10k and above soon?

From time to time, it's been shown that no other project can compete with Ethereum. We have many smart contract platforms with blazing-fast transaction confirmation times and dirt-cheap fees like Binance Smart Chain, Cardano, TRON, and Polkadot. Yet, they've been unable to outmatch ETH in terms of decentralization and mainstream adoption. If Ethereum becomes as good as Bitcoin in the future, then it could reach a higher price within a decade from now. Remember that in crypto land, anything is possible. Everything will depend on ETH's level of demand on the market. With high demand comes higher prices per coin. I wouldn't be surprised if ETH goes all the way to the moon by 2031. Just my thoughts Grin

Currently the price of eth continues to experience a fairly large increase in the market and negatively this increase also triggers an increase in gas costs that occur on their platform, currently the biggest problem that ethereum has to solve is transaction costs which are quite expensive so that ethereum can continue to be an option for Crypto traders and projects use the ETH platform a lot as the basis for their projects and of course if this is not resolved immediately it will have a bad impact on ethereum in the future because many crypto projects will switch to other platforms.

i just speculate using price increase comparisons and we didn't see eth price rising so heavily probably because ether still have trouble with the scalability , and when that solved , probably 2022 like the most news i've read, Ether can go easly to 4k of course BSC will be the great competitor on that time with DOT behind both of them. i would say over 50k still acceptable , it would be happen if scenario like crypto will be more introduced to general people keep continue.
I have speculation ten years later ethereum could raise above $10,000 because right now success raise above $2,000. Looks easy for ethereum raise to higher price and keep get good moment how ethereum consistent make good price. Just competitive with BNB coin could make ETH loss many investor or not, looking price eth is the best investment and ten years later increase more higher price again.

It makes sense that in ten years etherium will reach more than $ 10,000, as the development of etherium continues, new projects using the etherium blockchain will continue to grow. I'm sure I'll hit over $ 10,000 in ten years

Bitcoin has reached  58,000$ in 12 years. Over 5 years, Bitcoin has grown to $ 1,000. Ethereum in 5 years has grown to 2000. If we follow this scenario, then we should see the price of ETH 58,000$ in 7 years. I'm afraid of such numbers)

Hard to say but probably around $10k to $15k or more depending on how the growth of the market,  ten years from now I believe the number of new people in crypto would have increased more than current number,  and it is very likely this new comers will will buy eth as top on cmc which will thus affect price  positively.

First we should focus on scaling Ethereum, then we can talk about ETH hitting an ATH of $10k and above. My guess is that ETH will be able to scale to millions of users around the world within a decade from now (unless developers continue to delay network upgrades to make this happen). Once that happens, prices could head north of $5k -$10k per coin. With competition getting stronger each day, Ethereum could lose its position on the market if it doesn't reduce gas costs ASAP.

Nonetheless, no one knows how much an specific cryptocurrency will be worth in the future. Everything will depend on the rules of supply and demand. If there's a lot of demand for ETH, then prices will go all the way to the moon. My guess is that demand for ETH will soar once it improves transaction capacity. Low fees and blazing-fast transaction confirmation times will make ETH as good as it was when it launched. Its competitors will have no chance against ETH as it becomes a force to reckon with. Who knows if ETH becomes as good as Bitcoin a decade from now? Just my thoughts Grin

$10k for 1 Ethereum? I dont think that would ever happen. Ethereum does not grow that quick to reach 10k in 10 years. It took three years to increase ATH from 1400 to 2000, and now it looks like Ethereum has run out of power to grow. If the story repeats, than in about 3 year Ethereum would cost $3k, and by the end of 10 years about $5k, but only if they would fix fees issues and release some major upgrades (like Ethereum 2.0, but not like Constantinople).

It's true that ethereum won't get into that price level until solving the current gas fee problems, but it's just temporary IMO. As long as bitcoin's on the action and alt season isn't finished properly, etherem might hit $3k pr more within this year instead of having high gas fees as DeFi hype is still on track. TBH, it's now totally depend on the success of ETH2.0 , especially on the implementation of sharding chain. Though good news about ethereum might pump it into half of those high price target.

The world today has about 10 billion people, if the average population growth is 1%, compared to the era of cryptocurrency ecology is increasingly accepted every year.  Given ETH's supply of ~ 115 million, then I think that as a condition for estimating the value of ETH, ~ $ 20k seems reasonable  Wink.  Because the development of ETH is extremely widespread and has yet to be applied in all areas.  If it were to be released and amplified strongly in the next 10 years.  numbers can be difficult to estimate in value.
