not many probably about $ 20 more, that too because of my mistake, because I was not careful in gambling and unconsciously use $ 20 as a capital for gambling

In my entire life, I would approximate I lost around 5k USD, i started gambling 5 years ago and still do quite often, however in very low amounts. Basicaly just for fun.
Five grand is a lot of money to most. That could buy a car for where I live and that much can feed a family for a year in most third world countries.
If you could, would you have donated that to charity if you knew you would of lost that money to the casino?
For me I think I lost half that amount but not all at once. And yes, if I knew I would of invested it or put it towards something more contributing to society.

Hey, I do consider it a lot however spread along 5 years it's not that much. 100 usd/ per month. I would have kept it if I know I would have lost it, donated it too.

yes where i live you can feed a family with 5k USD for 2years

Yes, it is a lot of money. And i do regret having lost it. But it was a risk I took and I assume responsabilities. That's why I try not to anymore. Just once in a while for a bit of fun, but really small amounts.

I lost $20 once and stopped. Gambling is for idiots IMO
i agree with you
gambling is a scam and kills you and your future
Lol gambling is not scam, i've won several times on many websites. it's the greed which kills us. we don't get satisfied with our win/profit we keep on trying to get more money..
But have you won more than you spent on it? Being greedy is the thing that many tend not avoid and they fall into that trap then you get that statement in red as a concrete foundation in your mind for the rest of your life. That is the sad part of gambling.
If you lost $20 the first time then you are right to stop and not to try and win back what you lost, it usually never happens the way you want it too.

I have never kept a count on how much I have lost in gambling but I'm sure I could afford to lose out on that stuff. At the same time I make sure I recover the money back by playing with large amounts on higher probability games.

Yeag for some people to may be it is good that he can still afford his loss but not all people will have this kind of thing. And by playing large amount of money doesnt guarantee that you will always in although it is have low odds, there is a possibility that you will lose too if you dont have luck

Plm. 0,0092 BTC (value $4,5 at current prices). I only stake fractions of crypto I earn on the WWW and thus losing doesn't concern me. I've multiplied a faucet of 200 sats more than 200x on several occasions so now and then I attempt to turn slightly larger crypto dust into a more significant amount  Wink

I have lost around 0.1 btc in rough estimation. But since I set a rule for myself how much I can lose every time and I follow the rule strictly, I do not and will not lose anything significant. Borrowing money to gamble is always a bad idea, as it indicates you have already lost too much and you need to stop digging a bigger hole.

Pretty ignorant statement. Legit Gambling services are not a scam. You know that you risk your money if you gamble and can lose it all.
No one promises you certain win. You have choice - gamble to try to win money fast or not risk anything.
Yeah I agree with that. It's just good fun when you're doing it for pleasure and if you're not prone to addiction.
Just remember that the house always wins in the long run Wink

I have not lost more than I could afford to lose at the time, simple as that.

Before I played on Pokerstars and lost there enough to say I don't play there anymore. Don't wanna feel frustrated about a supposed fun game.
