Now, I have done some personal research on the subject. Carbon fiber doesnt really provide an alternative. Why? Its quite brittle and crack under high mechanical loads, just as titanium.

I'm from the Philippines and I wish this is the problem we have. Certainly easier to snipe at a rampaging knife-wielding or gun-toting lonewolf than to go up mountains and through jungles hunting down terrorists in your backyard.

That's kind of the point. In all the anti Islam threads, there is a rush to generalization, the assumption that because individual adherents are part of a whole, that they are representative of the whole. For example, one of my favorite asshats on here went and made a protest thread rather than actually discuss the issue without denigrating into 'alulalu jihad'. It's like, why is it when one crazy motherfucker does some crazy shit, the group he belongs to denounces it, and he's a lone actor. But in the other case, despite how much his group denounces him, it will always be the groups fault.  That double standard in thinking is either borne of racism, fear, ignorance or a combination there of.

No one claims him, yet he claims affiliation. So he is defined by his self affiliation. If he were a radical Islamist, he would be Muslim  because he said so, not because the Muslim plurality gave him that designation.

Now, where this differs is another point of conversation. Hate groups like the violent alt right groups (now that we are having a serious discussion, I will plainly say all alt right isn't bad, it's an ideology like everything else.) get to operate under the guise of 'free speech'.

Imagine if a non violent group of ISIS apologists had a protest rally in Portland. I myself would travel out there to kick into some ass. We tolerate the one expression of free speech and decry the other. None of this shit should have quarter; in my opinion, that alt right extreme racism shit is just as odious as the ISIS fuck Westerners shit. Hate speech shouldnt have a platform, at least publically. It is the vehicle for radicalization..

But the truth of the matter is, statistically, if you are worried about terrorism and you are American, you have a way higher statistical chance of something like this happening to you. So I'm saying a lot of the anti Islam rhetoric is just a vehicle for people to spew racist shit. Because a real discussion on terror would include these topics, if it were comprehensive.

But i seen a news story the other day that said there was going to be a shift with the war on terrorism.

The reality is the domestics are often indoctrinated and trained and recruited by over seas terrorists.
So it does make sense to increase the budget to tackle the source of the problem.
So i get the shift in policy mentality etc.

Maybe if we didn't have Muslims in the news attacking people the domestics wouldn't be getting the idea to join their organization and do local attacks ?

And I think I would trust a non partisanship, tax payer funded, government commissioned report rather than some dudes at a website, with no funding. And for the record, the numbers are inflated because it attributes crimes to Islamic extremists that even the police have not attributed. Be aware of the flaws in your source.

 Meanwhile, the government report only deals with cases that were officially deemed terror by the authorities. I think the authorities are a bit better at gauging terror than your Islamaphobic website it's an interesting read though.
