I always check coinmarketcap daily in order to update myself about the current prices most specially to look at the graph if it is rising or declining. Very helpful to know the current value than assuming the prices. Better to have an accurate basis than just an opinion of others.

For me it has been nearly everyday once for years now.  Grin

Now that we are in a bear market and the price slowly dropping  I am watching it daily to see a sign of bull run or if the price will keep dropping, but based on what I'm seeing everyday it looks like we are still a long way for a bull run and will continue to suffer from waiting anxiously.

Several times a week, it makes sense to constantly monitor what is happening new did not like the news from this forum enough, and if something specific I'm interested, then I'll find information.

for now almost every time I check coinmarketcap and hope there will be a bull run and return my portfolio to green again, although I know it is difficult and requires a long time to make the market recover, but what I hope for now is the market do not go down again and begin to increase slowly.

In the old days I don't used to watch market everyday. But now with hope, yet market go up or not. Daily I check coingecko website instead of coinmarketcap. Now watch daily market becomes just normal task for us  Grin

Same here, the market goes down and up even though that happens for many reason most of us wanted and aims to be on top and high. It is because the market will raise their is possibility that the profit will high too. In checking that would be daily so that you will be keep updating for the good news of it.

when in 2017 I always checked the coinmarketcap every day and maybe even every hour so that I did not miss the bull run, but for now I have not checked coinmarketcap for more than 2 months, because I am afraid it only makes me shock and disappointed, so I better just let the coins I have for my long-term investment, so I target to sell all my coins in 2020, and in that year I will start to check coinmarketcap every day or even every hour, so before 2020 I would never open the coinmarketcap again to check it.

Not really. I was just checking when the market improves or have movement that is different than usual. But the more I do to check the volume of the market and knowing the ranking market and altcoin. Not too often. Only  as necessary. Sometimes if too often monitor precisely makes us more confusion and always feel not confident with the decision at the beginning.

When the market was steady, I do check coinmarketcap once in a week but since the market has taken another dimension I use to check it often to know if there is any positive change in the market.

I'd say once a week during this bear market. I do this to guide me specifically on the highest losers by volume and to see if the top 10 coins have presented an opportunity. With this information, I have been able to stock up my wallets with some very good holdings that I believe should do well once the market rebounds. Also, checking CMC once a week gives me a better picture of the market capitalization and if there is an in flow of fresh funds to boost the market. It has helped with personal decisions lately.

Man, during my first period, September-febraruy 2017-2018 I used to check coinmarketcap several time a day.. Then, when the problems and the bear market started, I began to check less and less, and between March and augurst I checked once a week, maybe. Right now, I don't know why, but I am back at checking coinmarketcap at least twice a day ahah maybe it is a sign for a new bullrun

I think it's a bad habit if you guys keep checking price of crypto market on Coinmarketcap everyday, it's fine if bull run is happening but at the moment it's a bad idea cause it'll make you guys more nervous about the future of crypto market cause bearish is happening instead of bull run that is the reason why I often check price on Coinmarketcap once a week only Smiley

CoinMarketCap is one of my favorite sites. This is a website for a real trader. I go to CoinMarketCap every day and watch the altcoins.

I check the coinmarketcap several times a week, but not every day. Usually I look at the charts of coins, the exchange on which they are traded. If I am faced with a new exchange where my coins are traded, then it is on Coinmarketcap that I take a link to the new exchange, to be sure that I will not get to the fake page.

2017 I often check it but often because the markets of all the sluggish become lazy to check because we know for now a lot of coins have the lowest prices and it decreases people's interest

It makes no sense to frequently check the prices on the coinmarket, it does not give anything except frustration and some dependence on information. It is better to put alerts on the coins you are interested in, and not to make unnecessary movements. The market works in its mode and will recover with time, but your nerves will not.
