I have no excuses as I am already investing and doing DCA in bitcoins.  Smiley
I think there would be none in this forum, who have any excuse for not investing in bitcoin as everyone here know the benefits and future of bitcoins.

By the way, no one among us will be alive by 2140. Even a child who is born today will have to wait for another 115 years to see the year 2140 (which is highly unlikely to happen). This means that none of us who are reading this topic, will be alive at 2140 to see that year or even see the last halving of bitcoin.

No one will want to avoid investment in Bitcoin but those who don't know anything about Bitcoin yet will not trust it anymore. The method of DCA is very successful and through the methodology of DCA when can get huge profit according to his investment and duration to keep his holding.

There will be no one in the year mentioned by the op because life is too short and we don't know that when we will leave this world. Some people invest for 100 of years but they don't know that after 100 of years they will be alive or not.

I am not saying that holding is a bad thing but I am saying that take your profit when you are in advantage because you don't know that how long you will live so if you cannot take benefit from your investment then there is no need to spend your life to collect money and save it.

That's show that everyone has to seat up in Bitcoin business, because is a life time business even our children we also benefits and witness every four years Bitcoin halving counting sessions to a new ATH. Therefore the best investment to our Little children is to buy Bitcoin and hold for them as well. Because Bitcoin halving we continue until I exit bas on my current age that should be 148yrs.

We'll all be successful and fullfilled old people by then, bitcoin has delivered to this our time and generation, and its up to whoever that wants to sit up and make life easy for his/herself.
Personally,I don't think the age matters, because we sincerely don't know what might happen in the next six years, talk more of a hundred years to come.
We would all be guessing and laying our assumptions, expectations and predictions. The time is one,the hard work, sleepless night, the hustle and bustle activities should hold now;this is the current age for any who chooses and desires to be successful.

What happens to bitcoin or what will happen to bitcoin should not bother anyone,at least there should be something that you're trying to achieve and chase.Deal with it,with all Vigour, energy and produce the possibilities of your reality.

If I can choose I don't even want to live up to 100 year in this world, I want to be gone, i have seen old people suffers because of their current bodies being too weak for them to manage, it's like another form of suffering.

I am a strong believer in Bitcoin and that's why I am investing very hard into Bitcoin, but everything must come to an end like they say, its possible that new innovations will best Bitcoin in the future, in the early 2000s not a single soul ever dream that something as good as Bitcoin will be created.

The same thing will happen someday again, this is why we must not dip our heads only into things that we believe in, as an investor we must be open to newer investment opportunities.

If you add 80 years to your age, I'm very sure you would be 80 plus. As for me, I don't even know what age I want to de-exist but I don't want to reach the age where people don't see things in life to be important. I want to stop breathing when it's the right time and not to be struggling with life later. At this particular stage you will likely developed, have a serious one health issues or another, all for what? To see last Bitcoin to be mine? What if a consensus rules are agreed and change before that time.

Bitcoin will succeed with or without anyone of us in this forum because of the foundation the community has built from beginning and if there is an adjustment needed anywhere, soft fork or hard fork will be implemented and pass through, all this age things doesn't matter. The forum has loss good people that has made an incredible contribution to this forum and Bitcoin and more will still come.

So many FUD and FOMO has been created in order to poke holes at the vision of Satoshi Nakamoto for Bitcoin and to scare potential investors from investing in cryptocurrency, but one thing for sure is that all these cases only stands to test the authenticity and credibility of Bitcoin as a decentralized crypto currency with good store value and with potential of giving good profit.

The test has been going on for a long time and now we can make a decision regarding the future of bitcoin.
I have never doubted Bitcoin's performance in the long term, even though there is a lot of FUD and FOMO everywhere because as far as I can see Bitcoin has shown itself to be much better than any other system that has ever existed. The authenticity and credibility of Bitcoin has shown how strong and guaranteed it is when people dare to make the decision to invest.

I was too lazy to calculate my age in that year, but physically I died at that age. So there is not much that needs to be commented on that year because what we need to see is how it is now, not talk about the future being too far away.

I've been here for a few years and that means I've been consciously involved in bitcoin. But what makes me confident in bitcoin is because it can provide profits if invested correctly and bitcoin is always strong in maintaining its value.

The year 2140 is a long time away, and we will not be able to witness when the last bitcoin is mined and mining activity ceases. I can't imagine how things will be by then, but if this forum continues to exist, none of us will return to discuss what we're saying now. What if the world doesn't even exist by then? Rhetorical question, right? Nobody can tell.

Those who own some bitcoin now, no matter how small, and can save until then, implying that they will not be the ones to spend it by then, will be worth more than what we are seeing now as the projected price of bitcoin continues to rise, and no one can predict what will happen to it by that time; all I can hope for is that it becomes widely accepted by then.
There is no doubt that none of us will be around by that time because it's not humanly possible to live that long, even if one does live that long, they won't be able to say or do anything at all but just be on the bed. However, if the forum exists, our discussions will exist as well and we will be seen as seniors from history just like how we see older accounts and users from back in the 2009 or 2010 era and think they are historical existences.

Just like how we regret not buying Bitcoin when we first came to know about it a decade ago or so, our generations from that time will curse us for not doing the same this time, they will ask why our ancestors didn't buy Bitcoin when it was priced just $65k. And who knows? People from the next generations might be very fast and powerful with technology, they might be able to hack or exploit wallets and accounts from the past that have Bitcoins in them.

At the rate technology is developing, I think by 2140 the concept of money will no longer exist, or at least not in its current form. So there may be no need for Bitcoin. Bitcoin fulfills our needs and the needs of two generations from now. It will be a completely different world in a hundred years. 30 years ago we didn't even have internet, now we are sending tourists to space. Mankind is moving very fast.

I doubt that there will be no concept of Money, the past, present and the future will rely on exchange of goods and service which in turn brings in value (Money). So as a state, government cannot stop or try to eliminate the monetary policies since they are in control of it and the world at large is runned on finances (Money).

We believe more greater development and promising differences to come in the future, but the truth is 95% of us in this forum wouldn't witness it. Before 2140 we may be dead, so our focus should be about now, beholding the best of bitcoin, barely 15 years of existence.
As we will be termed the Early Investors .

Absolutely. Bitcoin's resilience against FUD and FOMO showcases its core strength as a decentralized store of value. Looking ahead to 2140, the year of the last Bitcoin's mining, prompts reflection on the importance of long-term financial planning. Investing in Bitcoin now may offer significant benefits given its scarcity and growing adoption, making it worth considering regardless of age or concerns.

I'm not sure if I'll still be alive when the year 2140 arrives, but all I can say is that bitcoin has already shown its long term plan, so it means that this is a good indication that one of the things that will help us when it comes to financial matters is to invest in crypto, imagine? after 116 years the last bitcoin mining will be finished, that's when we will think that we should really invest here but of course not just putting money in here, it's better that everyone has knowledge before entering into any investment to avoid regrets once something went wrong.
What makes you not sure, trust me you will be long gone, simply adding a 115 yrs to your current age, do not even bother no one on this forum currently will experience that day, our account here would be inactive and dead. Permit me to correct you on this, when you use the word "Crypto", you are not making reference to Bitcoin rather to some other currencies. Bitcoin is called Bitcoin while every other Altcoins can be called Cryptocurrencies. We should be making decisions on how to continue accumulating Bitcoin and making much profits from it so we can enjoy every benefits while we last here because our time is limited, closer to our end than Bitcoin seems to an end, 115yrs from now is no big joke.

Let's be realistic for once and at least accept the truth that the idea of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will infact out live many of us now with as many more as 29 more halvings from the 32 Bitcoin halving estimated to happen every four years till 2140 when the 21 million BTC is expected to be in maximum supply.  BTC will be fully in existence and all mining activities will have to cease at the time.

Quote
The Bitcoin Halving is when Bitcoin's mining reward is split in half. It takes the blockchain network about four years to open 210,000 more blocks, a standard set by the blockchain's creators to continuously reduce the rate at which the cryptocurrency is introduced.

I won't be alive by 2140, I will be long gone and forgotten, but one thing I know is that bitcoin will still be in existence and my legacies in bitcoin will be continued by my children I will leave behind. Many people who started bitcoin investment decade ago are no longer here lots of them have died, but bitcoin is still alive. Bitcoin is not just something for this generation alone, it both for this generation and the generations yet unborn. I will not be here for the last bitcoin halving but am certain that my generation after me will be beneficial of the last bitcoin halving.

Tell me, would this earth still be in existence in 2140? Or would we humans probably destroyed it by then? I mean, look at the way the world is going. Well, it doesn’t even matter because there’s only going to be a super little amount of us who could be alive by then. Some of us have already lived half our lives and would be about maybe 140 - 170 years by then. Even for those birthed right now, they’ll be 115 years at that time, and that’s a lot.

Without a doubt, you are correct. The age is huge, who could hit his or her chest and say that they pray to be alive and see 2140? By then, none of the people in this forum will be alive. Even a newborn will only be about 115 or 116 at that point, talk more about people who are already above 30. You know there comes an age when you will be wishing to die because you are too old to do anything on your own, sit in one place for a years, we might even get tired of living in this world. We all are going to be dead by then, so those who can see the year are not yet born. We are no meant to live forever, we won't be around to see what happens, so that will be a different story by then.

Talking about if the earth will still be in existence in 2140? I think I'm not in the right position to answer the question, reason been that I can't predict the future, who knows if you and I will still be in existence till then,so I have absolutely nothing to say about that either, only God knows what will happen then.

I can die at any moment, 2140 is far away! If we calculate the average life expectancy of people, then after the next 60-70 years, the maximum members of the currently active forum will not be in this world. There may be forums in 2140, but none of us who are currently in the forums will be there.

Personally I have no complaints about Bitcoin investing. I have invested in bitcoins and try to invest in bitcoins regularly. I am trying to make my investment long for me and my family's future so that if the price of Bitcoin increases in the future my investment will be useful for me or my family at important times.

This is another dimension to this discussion that cannot be completed without sounder either too religious or too scientific (Like in the case of global warming/climate change). Since we cannot know if the world will be in existence then or not, it will just make sense we do not go that direction.

On what it will look like when all 21 million bitcoin have been mined, I do not see much difference, it will just be setting the fee either from the sender side or the miner side and it will be based on market competition, another case of demand and supply market mechanism. This will not be the end of bitcoin but there will definitely be some panic at the beginning before a common ground is established. Like many people already commented, none of us active now will be there when it will happen.

Well, it doesn’t matter if the earth would or wouldn’t exists by then because it is very unlikely that anyone kf us will be alive by then, and those who would be alive will likely be suffering from dementia due to old age. Asides from that, what if we end up creating something new and better than Bitcoin before that time frame? Because humans have always created something new and better, always.

We have people of different age groups connected in this forum, maybe many are 18 plus and many are 30 plus. But I think there may be no one under 18 who is connected to this forum. In 2140 we may have a lot of people connected to this forum who will not be alive because they will be too old the average life expectancy on earth is 70 thousand years plus. When the year 2140 hits the pages of history, maybe this forum and Bitcoin will be around, maybe many of us won't be around then.

I have no excuse not to invest in Bitcoin because I have been investing in Bitcoin all the time and will continue to do so in the future. From where I am now I am trying to buy bitcoins every month with a certain amount of my money and plan to keep it for a long time so that my next generation can use them. The price of bitcoin will continue to rise as our next generation comes along and they will see the price of bitcoin reach even greater heights.

I can never live from this age till 2140, i can live till 2050-2060. Still, since humans are mortal, it cannot be said with certainty when they will die. Humans can die at any time, but as an average life expectancy, a human can live up to 63 years. No excuses here I am investing my way. But I am always using DCA method to invest I am just using DCA method to increase my investment. I am making my investment for a long time in which if I live I will enjoy it and if I die my family will get enjoy from my investment.

Now those who are involved with Bitcoin or have a proper idea or understanding about Bitcoin are basically no one below eighteen years then in 2140 everyone will be over 140 years old that means we may not be alive on earth even if there is an idea about Bitcoin at that time. Or those who survive will have amnesia and will lose all amnesia that has been revealed to people who know too much about Bitcoin.
Don't seal that deal yet OP, remember that the world doesn't just revolve around bitcoin, scientific advancements are happening too as of right now, who knows what medical marvel will be seeing in the near future, I'm sure that there's a lot of people that are invested into creating a way to circumvent old age so I'm not sure that death for us by that year is a certain thing, humanities obssession to live forever will never be extinguished so I'm sure that we would see some of us still staying strong or alive by that time, I too am hoping to see that event in bitcoin happen.
