It's possible to make a living by trading cryptocurrencies alone but depend greatly on one how much you need to live as well as your capital investment.

The more you analyze and trade, the more experience you will get. You can improve your skills in analyzing the coin movement. You can know when to enter and leave the market, you will know how to buy the coin at a low price, and the important is you will know how to sell the coin at the right time. But remember, all of that will need time, and it will not happen in one night. And as long as you can learn from many lessons, I am sure that it will not takes too long to improve your skills.
Yes simply, when we are continuously spending time with trading then we can easily become a professional trader. Spending time into trading environment is not possible by just watching markets and this is the reason experts are always suggesting about practicing in demo accounts or trading in live markets but with very small capital. When you're engaging with markets then you can simply notice that you are getting various skills about predicting market direction by your own.As per many people's experience in this forum, making a life out of crypto trading is possible. But, it is possible only for experienced traders because when you are continuously making losses, you can not be expecting some returns. In summary, crypto trading basically got the potential to get us good profits but only for the people who know how to approach it.

I think it's possible, but you need experience. Choosing a trading strategy determines its success.
Where to gain experience? After all, it is no secret that most novice traders do not cope and quickly drain their money. 
You can gain more experience by trading at the exchanges. The more you analyze and trade, the more experience you will get. You can improve your skills in analyzing the coin movement. You can know when to enter and leave the market, you will know how to buy the coin at a low price, and the important is you will know how to sell the coin at the right time. But remember, all of that will need time, and it will not happen in one night. And as long as you can learn from many lessons, I am sure that it will not takes too long to improve your skills.

Everyone says that trading in cryptocurrencies doesn't provide a stable income. But in the current situation in the world, I mean the virus and quarantine, many of us also now cannot boast of a stable job and salary. Full time trading is possible but it is not easy and only few traders are constantly earning in volatile market. For those who want to be a full time trader, that task is so difficult especially in the beginning where you are not yet used to the volatility of the market. I do trading but not full time because there are still things that I needed to do but I plan to do full time trading in the next 6 months because my goal today is to earn experience and to polish my skills in trading.
Full time trading for real? I've been on this road and if you put all your eggs in one basket (doing only trading to earn a living) it might be catastrophic. I noticed that when I quit my low paying job to focus only on trading, my emotions trippled, which is unhealthy for a trader even though I thought it will let me focus more on trading, thereby achieving greater heights. However, it's just my personal experience, might be a different ballgame with someone else.

Can someone make it trading only altcoins?
Its possible but not easy. You need to be knowledgeable and aware of everything related to trading.I did this as well before but it didnt work, I might be lacking of strategy and plan thus im more on losing than having a profit. So I chose to be a long term holder while having a real job because I can earn stable income through this.

We have a small altseason, in the last two months I have been able to make a profit from trading, will see what happens next, the main thing is not to give up, but to learn and do.
you should always watch the movement in the market. To do a daily trade needs a good market with intense volatility. This is not an impossible thing to do but when someone wanna try to do that and there was a lot of things that must be considered to choose the right market to do the daily trade.

In my experience in trading altcoins in the market, I think you could earn a decent amount of profit in a day.
With just trading altcoin daily if you have good capital you could earn hundreds of dollar if your lucky in your trading but probably it is not always gonna be a good day.
It might be risky so investing in cryptocurrency but it is possible to make a living in trading alone.

Of course, trading altcoins to make a living is possible. But I will strongly recommend not to rely on this alone. The risk of losing is high because of this unstable market. Also, if you are not that confident enough to enter trading you can not enter without the shield (tools and knowledge).
It takes time to learn trading and yeah it is worth all the efforts. Been trading for years now with altcoins and so far I have been gaining.

You can only achieve this if you are a top professional and a seasoned cryptocurrency trader with several years of handson experience. However, due to the volatility and uncertain nature of cryptocurrency and digital assets, this isn't adviced. You could have a lot of bad days and end up blowing your investments and that will be a terribly thing to face. Learn your trade and keep a side job until you are completely ready and competent enough to solely depend on trading for survival.

I'm not sure how it works coz mostly traders never just rely upon on altcoins alone but more on Bitcoin. Besides, we know the reality in trading, altcoins never have that volatility, prices keep moves slowly and the bad thing is that some altcoins played with hypes which are considered a huge risk and possibility of losing. You'll need to be smart in trading and that smart action is to choose those coins that are really potential. Well, that gonna be best if we choose the mix of Bitcoin and some potential altcoins, there you can guarantee of anything.

There is many thing that must be prefered before you do day trading. Such as find more first many information about the coin and make an analyst through the chart.
If you do that everytime you trade you will gain profit. Because the two factors is enough for every trader to gain money in it. So, there is not how much altcoin that you choose or what coin that you choose but it is about your skill.
Yes, first we need to find a coin for trading which should be potential enough and then must go for gathering enough information about that coin then we must go for technical analysis to find where to buy and that to sell. This way we can manage crypto trading for earning a life from it. It means we must focus on both fundamental analysis and then technical analysis. News and development information about one particular coin is a better way of doing fundamental analysis.If you do that everytime you trade you will gain profit. Because the two factors is enough for every trader to gain money in it. So, there is not how much altcoin that you choose or what coin that you choose but it is about your skill.

The only thing we must focus on finding ways because we can easily tackle those higher risks. There was a time when it was possible but now it is not that easy to make a living trading on cryptocurrencies alone unless you have a sable financial situation where you are not forced to make any sell offer unless needed and the best way to make a good profit is to trade without pressure, there are many coins pumping on a daily basis but the risk involved is really high as you cannot hold for a certain period of time as you can be the bag holder, in short there are ways but the risks are higher.

Trading altcoin pairs are profitable only in a bull market when we see that Bitcoin grows, but altcoins grow even more! What would you now trade? Bitcoin is the most stable asset in the market currently, for more than 2 weeks we didn´t see any movement on Bitcoin.

Everything is possible. It is only worth clarifying that the result of this trade may be completely different from what you expected. It all depends on your knowledge and your experience in trading. Mostly new traders will choose the bitcoin to inverse their money. Only few beginners had a guts to get into altcoin directly. Not only guts, it should need of widesome knowledge to inverse on altcoin. Because many shit coun also available in the market. Not only by the price chart you can predict which is good or bad. You should alos analysis the team behind the project to avoid of shitcoins.
