Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.
We should be aware of our assets are in the Internet network, has become commonplace internet network can be manipulated by someone, let say he is a hacker. Before crypto currency became popular, many hackers had taken the asset of a country or bank. Especially with crypto currency that there is no legal protection of a country, so that when someone loses his assets they will be indifferent to respond. So that every asset we have is only ourselves that will guard it, there will be no other parties that will help in case of loss.

I don't worry about my money, because I only have a few coins. And I'm all stored in famous exchanges, not those small exchanges, and their technology and anti-hacking are very powerful.

For me money in Crypto is a high risk with a great reward, actually I think money in Crypto is not guaranteed until it is spent, but still better than fiat considering the future gain, surely, CryptoCurrency market is highly volatile reason one has to be prepared.

Not that safe as you think though. We are vunerable to all hackers, even though some wallet platforms made a strong security it is just the hackers are so smart that they can make a way to strike it through into it. What we need to do is to monitor our address, and make some a quick assessment if we are free or prone to hackers, and make some security with our ownselves. Do not depend on the site itself, make your own self guarding and make some quick precautions for us and to our wallet as well.

I guess you never tried private wallet yet, so try it. I actually dont 100% trust any exchanges wallet as it's too risky. Yeah hackers are around, hackers are everywhere but in this decentralize world, centralize exchange is actually the real problem because they against 'decentralize ecosystem'. Don't let them fool you, take your money and say "we are hacked".

My money in my crypto asset is safe because I learn how to prevent hacking in our wallet. I learn about how to secure accessing my wallet through some youtuber, they give me a lot of learnings on how to be secure and that makes me comfortable that my funds and my future is safe.

We really cannot predict and secure our money 100% because even banks get hacked sometimes and even government websites which is well monitored by highly paid IT's still get hacked. Hackers are everywhere so all we can do is keep our details and wallet address in private and be more vigilant and active in monitoring your account because this is the risk we have to take in exchange of good amount of money.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, if you put coins on the exchange, make sure it is a very safe exchange. Otherwise, you should put it in your own wallet, as long as you keep your wallet private key from being stolen.

Unfortunately this is one of the downsides of investing in cryptocurrency. It is a risk that everyone takes when they decide to get into crypto. If you are not smart about handling your money, then you will lose it at the hands of hackers and scammers.

It's strange that you paid attention to the security problem only with crypto currency. Banks can be robbed, electronic money can be hacked by a lot of bugs of a purse, Fiat to steal or lose (if you do not spend on useless things), and so on. No system, including financial, does not provide users with complete security.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It depends on what wallet we use, if we use app such as Enj or Eidoo, and also metamask for ETH network, it's OK. The best way to save all our coins and tokens is use Leger nano or kind of that wallet Trezor for example. It's the best wallet for all coins and safest place from hackers

The money in our wallets are safe if we are keeping it safe. Or do the things that we should do in order to maintain the security. For example, not opening unsafe websites. If the hacker's target is the entire website for example, what happened to MEW, I don't think we can do so much. Just be aware of the situation and keep up to the latest news.

that make it safe or not it's yourself because you should be able to secure your funds because there are many cases of money loss based on the person's mistake. for example, accessing the wallet and being fooled by phishing sites

If you are referring to safety that has no risk of losing money, it would be a bad idea turning your fiat to cryptos. Cryptos are volatile in nature. The market value of most cryptos are changing from time to time which includes ups and downs which also means that there's a tendency to earn profit from holding but also, lose profit.

The cryptocurrency you own will be safe if you can keep your private key properly so your money is not stolen by hackers.

It is safe as long as you are careful and know what you are doing, most of the problem comes from the user negligence of security and they don't think that they need better security. If you want your money to be safer then it's better to store your money in the bank but the value of your money won't grow rather they will lose it's value to inflation.
