Thank you for your answers! From your answers I'm reading that everyone takes BTC serious in general. I think, that's not something to wonder on a crypto forum. However, some people trust BTC more than others. Some prefer to obverse BTC as an entity, how it behaves, what it'll become and maybe even deposit some money in it while others actively take part in BTC related projects and not only observe, but base further projects on BTC. From this view, I can read that there's a stable demand for BTC while it's still looked as an unstable currency by many. Hopefully, the latter will change soon. Thank you!

bitcoin is serious money to me because I am thinking big with it. Even though I have a day job and I am earning a good salary, I am still trading in bitcoin market and saving my earnings in a secret place. Because, I want to save that bitcoin for a long time from now and then I will sell it for good.

I am trying to create a parallel income stream by investing and storing my bitcoin. SO if any emergency arises in future, I can take the help of my bitcoin if my savings is not sufficient for that need. So bitcoin is pretty serious money for me and that is the reason why I am maintaining more that one account for storing my bitcoin.

I'm from Venezuela and BTC are ver y serious for me, i have all muy savings in BTC and i dont care about the volatility. Due the financial issue in this country, having my money in my currency it's wasting it (inflation rate its >10% MONTHLY) so it's a way to keep my purchasing power
Nice to hear you are using bitcoin to protect you from government theft do you have any idea of some other people, friends or family, doing the same? Because this is one of the strong points of bitcoin the 21 million cap assures us there is not going to be hyperinflation like the one affecting Venezuela right now.

Yep, I have a few friends doing the same and I convinced my parents to do the same also my brother who lives in the US help us through Bitcoin. No much people knows about Bitcoin, others are sceptical about it, others are afraid because there's no regulation and the gov can freeze your bank account or something. I just spread the word as an opportunity to save money without going to the black Fx market.

Right now in 2 exchanges (surbitcoin and bitinka) Venezuelans have a trade volume of >100 BTC, biggest in Latin America after Brazil.

As a student. Bitcoin is really important to me because it helps me to pay for my tuition fees and other miscellaneous. I do trading altcoins which makes earn enough to to survive. Its also allow me to work with ease. If you have good capital you should be fine. Theres nothing to compare with bitcoin. Thats all i can say.

Yes having the same issue, its very important for me because of the fact that its real earned money for me and I really need it too in my daily life.

Merchants online are accepting bitcoin already so its dead serious to me as real fiat. I have to earn btc as much as possible to invest on some projects for the next token that will sky rocket shall also need to be taken seriously.
This is good news, when many merchants accepted bitcoin certainly makes us all attracted to save bitcoin. One thing when the transaction is a matter of confirmation, why should wait until 6 confirmations for complete?

How serious is BTC to you? Could you look at it as a foundation of business/job or is it just an exciting hobby/experiment?
I'm  serious enough like I'm handling my money(fiat). You could look bitcoin as a foundation  of business when you have a lot of it but unlike me who doesn't  have lots of it. I think of it as somekind of hobby and use it when i really  need it.
Bitcoin is an investment to me, I believe it will make me rich in the future so I already started saving now and this is for preparation for another price increase that is going to happen in the following years to come. I do not see the future but I have never been too confident with my investment.

I think for now it is just an experiment or maybe you could say a sidekick, but it would be a lot more when I actually own a couple of BTC Cheesy
I think then I would be able to see it as a proper business or opportunity for a business with it.

I see it as a bit of both right now. The technology that comes from all this will grow in the world, and it could be an emerging market like networking and the internet in 1991.

I've gone so far as to offer a short course on btc at my local community college.

It's still mostly just a fun hobby, but with all the vitriol in the ecosystem a lot of the fun has disappeared.

I view bitcoin as very important to me and my lifestyle.
I use it everyday to exchange with and receive payments for the work that I do.
So I am quite serious when it comes to bitcoin and what I use it for.
I guess the longer we stay here the more we are attached with bitcoin, actually we are doing a great job as long as it's all productive. Only few in the world knows about bitcoin and definitely it's our chance to be the pioneer when this will continue to succeed in the future. It will be big, the community and the economy and no question about that so let's focus on this as there's more we can do here that will bring us good life.

i think i can't make bitcoin as primary income cause bitcoin is digital currency (anonym), bitcoin is hobby can get a side income and iknow about internet marketing from this forum etc

It is a good thing to start with as a side income first and slowly you start exploring the options to make more money with bitcoins than you can think of using bitcoins as the main source of revenue. You just need to find some good market to sell your service then you earn good money online. I'm also using bitcoins to earn some money during my free time .
