btc is side job, but give me more income than my real job  Grin and it really helped me a lot for my life. but i would not leave my real job because i already enjoyed to have life like this
Although i also treat btc as my side job but im more focus inside of it comparing to my day job as its bring more profits just waiting for more secure ways to earn before living my day job.

It was the 1st Popular Crypto, so there will always be fond memories.

However after delving into the newer energy efficient Altcoins,
there is no reason to use the older, slower, Energy Waster,  Centralized to Chinese Rule Coin that BTC has become.  Tongue

I agree, most of miner doesn't think they want to grow up their business with mining bitcoin.
Me too, it's just an additional income, side projet, or whatever you call it.

I would like to retire with Bitcoin. I don't really like working full time for a small wage for someone else, although I cannot complain my boss is a decent person but I would like to have the freedom to travel with my family and work the hours that suit me, so if in the future i can earn a living with bitcoin I will quit my full time job eventually.

I read some replies, mainly in the Mining section that said mining was a fun hobby for them and not a thing that they could continue doing as a business. In the Project Development section I found many projects that generated profit like your local businesses.

How serious is BTC to you? Could you look at it as a foundation of business/job or is it just an exciting hobby/experiment?

That's the world changing, I saw in bitcoin and blockchain a chance to change the world to better. The community is big so it's easy to make contacts, know people that have the same thoughts than you and start some project.

I'm glad to be part of this.

Bitcoin is very important to me because i have used bitcoin since 2012 for many methods. I use bitcoin to trade, to buy and sell things online. Currently, i am working on using bitcoin outside the internet to manage my business. I am thinking about opening a coffee shop which accept bitcoin.

For me, bitcoin has a big impact to me.
It is more than a job or a business opportunity.
It helps me in a lot of way.
Actually, it is a currency that has been controlled by the public and not be controlled by some like the other currencies. So I can say that it is much better than the banks.

Bitcoin is like a side job to me. I could earn extra money by bitcoin and it really helps me a lot financially.
Also, bitcoin can be use as a saving and an investment. Some of bitcoin I earn, I use it for trading and I save the rest. So in case where I don't have money and I need in cash, I can use my bitcoin saving for it.

I think it's becoming less profitable for individuals to mine, so I can see why people only do it as hobby. It's probably more profitable to just invest in bitcoin.

The big mining companies are making profit while mining btcs, what doesn't worth anymore is the solo miner or the cloud mining investiment.
But I agree with you, who is mining by himself today is doing it for hobby, because it's not profitable anymore.
Some persons try their luck mining alt-coins also, because they can sell it tomorrow or later for a more expensive price.

You can earn more profit by doing trading whether it is altcoin or bitcoin they both give good profits. In my opinion, Investing only in bitcoin is a lazy task because there is still a lot of opportunity to discover using bitcoin. Explore the bitcoin world and you will know different ways to generate even more income rather than only investing in bitcoin Roll Eyes.

I consider bitcoin very seriously because I have invested in bitcoin for a while now and I should be interested what is happening with bitcoin and with the crypto world.

Most of the time I check every day regularly the bitcoin price and some altcoins price and read the crypto news.

For me it's freedom to use bitcoin and to make transaction with people all around the world with cheap fees.
I think it is not the only reason.for me it is important because its business the price is not stable we are making good profit just to save bitcoin and hold it and wait for the right time to sell bitcoin and gain profit.. i invested in hardworking in my blog and earnings in signature campaign to have some capital in trading and earn profit for altcoin for a long time it helps me a lot because i can pay for my internet and electricity bill.. and if i need emergency it can help to if you really need it..

If you pay for your internet and electricity bill then I think that you sell bitcoin every month and that is not considered that you are holding bitcoins for a long time.

It's true that I use too bitcoin as an investment and I prefer to not spend them until I really need money and don't have any other source to get money for emergencies.

Holding them for a long term is the right thing to do as price will certainly go higher in future and it can give us better profits and if we are investing our money in it then we will surely expect to make profits from it as of now I am only selling bitcoins only if I need money badly.

A serious thing that I'm willing to give more than half of my paycheck in exchange of bitcoins. Also, I have invested heavily into it in the past year and so far it made me gain so much and help my life in alleviating myself from poverty. Aside from that, it helped me on decision-making on things related to money and also, on life choices as well.
