OP, thank you for sharing, no offense... but I don't see anything interesting about what you shared or should I say i was expecting you to tell us the importance of having bitcointalk on our phones's home screen but you failed to do that.
Well I think it is to give one easy access to the forum without having the need to open one's browsers which is really cool. Bookmark does almost the same thing only that you need to open the browsers to access it.

You fail to explain the importance of adding Bitcointalk to the home screen, but well, it may be helpful to people who would want to try it out. The topic would fit in the Beginners and Help board so that it can easily be seen by newbies since they visit the board a lot.
But it's really not necessary to add sensitive information to the home screen; instead, it should be hidden for security's sake. The day my friends encountered rubbers on the street, the rubbers collected their phones, and when they saw the banking app on their phone home screen, the rubbers asked them to open the app and transfer all funds to their account, and they made off with it and their phone.

Adding it to the home screen does nothing, man; not only brave browser, but many other browsers offer this option as well. If I were you, I would not add this forum to my home screen for 101 security seasons.
