Actually, there have been several threads that discuss this topic, about choosing the bounty and ignoring scam projects.
You may see some of these thread links:

etc
And there are still many others. You can use the search menu to find out.

To note: Your rank is still a newbie. If you want to join the Signature campaign, better to increase your rank at first. You may not need to focus on the bounty campaign. Ranking up first will let you find more chances to get the legit bounty, moreover the bounty with BTC or exact coin payment.
Read more about it on this forum.

Actually, the basic way to get the legit bounty can be analyzed first easily from the Bounty Manager. Choose the one with a professional and trusted BM. Additionally, get to know the team of the project, exchange to the listing, and also its token schedule. Never forget also about the community channel where you can find out about the project directly.y

I do everything manually, check the project whitepaper, social media if their team is visible and active on conferences, also if they an ongoing or coming IEO on a trusted exchanges, of course you need yo verify to the exchange social media if its really true. Already listed project is good but it depends on the volume, project that has already a working platform or product is much better. But doing all those things is not guaranteed that you will not be scammed it will just minimized the risk.

There are a lot of things to be considered before joining bounty. Is the team have the domain experience to deliver base on the roadmap? What are the use cases of the project? Does it really need to be tokenized? Who will be there target users?

Actually it is quite difficult to determine which campaigns are truly legit until everything goes according to the rules and agreements that have been set. In addition to focusing on project selection, newbies must also understand that bounty campaigns are very risky, it could be that your hard work in promoting projects is not paid properly, so understand that in advance so as not to expect too high so you can survive even though disappointed.

When the market is not conducive, the risk is greater for joining bounties, because it can affect the market acceptance of newly issued coins or tokens. It's better to choose a campaign that gives rewards in BTC or ETH, or choose projects that have a wide network and are supported by companies or influential people, make sure the projects you support are not included in the scam accusation.

Even the highest scam can appear as legit from the start it takes years of planning to perfect this act. As the cryptocurrency market expands, lots of new scam mechanisms are adopted daily. It is best everyone joins campaigns based on their gut feelings because a scam can look real from the onset and a real project can look like scam as well from the onset.

Good Day Everyone......

Upon reading on various topic these past few days and referring to my friends advise to choose the correct bounty, i'm a little bit confuse on how can we identify they correct bounty campaign to join with? Are there any series of steps to identify if the project is fake or not? Do we have a checklist on how we can confirm if the project is going to be a fraud?

No there's no checklist and if you do see any don't get decieve as most project listed there are probably done as a means of paid advertisment. Previously you can easily use the managers to identify quality campaign but this days that's not the case since greed has become a common problem in the community and also some projects disguise themselves as legitimate projects, pay huge sum of money to hire this repute campaign manager so their reputation can draw in more patronizers and reach a greater audience so their scam can have an impact.

You just have to be vigilant and apply caution as 90% of the project carrying out bounty are scam while the other 9% will turn out to be shitcoins that can't give you any rewardable return for your time invested in promoting the campaign. The last 1% are the legit ones and there are very rare to find. You just have to be among the lucky few that get an opportunity to participate.

Unfortunately, there is no ideal strategy for choosing a successful bounty project. Knowledge comes with experience. The most important thing is to choose projects that have a finished product and a good reputation. This will increase the chances of success.

As a newbie like us, what can you recommend for us to get rid of those project since a lot of project begins to collapse since BTC is souring high again?

All you thoughts will be beneficial to us.

I would suggest you to avoid these bounty programs in the first place, be it legit or scam. You will be spending a lot of time doing these bounty tasks, but in the end, what you will earn won't be worth the time you would be spending on completing those tasks. If the project turns out to be scammed, you won't even earn a single penny. Even if the project turns out to be legit, the amount of people joining the program will end up reducing the rewards you will be receiving.
Try doing something more better instead of wasting your time doing bounty programs.

In my opinion, this is very easy to determine. You do not even need to spend a long time and just analyze the telegram group of any project. If she is alive people are real then it means that the interest of the community is great. The whole point is that any cryptocurrency project is interested in an active and lively community. From here, draw your own conclusions.

There is no way you can know the bounty that will not end in the scam. From my experience, there is no certain way of knowing a bounty campaign that will end in scam but I am always wary of bounty campaign that always allocates a large sum of money in form of token for a campaign. Many of them are dead on arrival. Also, I have realized that project that gets listed on fair IEO platforms such as Livecoin, Probit etc. and also have bounty are still better to compare to other bounties that get IEO listed on some exchange platform that is known to be promoting shady projects such as Latoken.

With research you can escape some scam or bad projects but not entirely safe still because few projects are undetectable as scam until they got exposed as scam projects, bounties is more or less like a gambler's den now

Today bounty most of the time is wasting time, first many time they do not pay any coin second when hit the exchange price is muck lower! if you get some cent you are luky.
If that's true then why are you still wearing a signature and participating in bounty? Bounty does not waste your time, you can still choose the good bounty here by your experience. And remember that you should not be involved in bounty with all the time you have, you should only participate as your part-time job.

Its kinda funny if you already have experience in bounty campaign that there are steps into finding projects which are fake or not but since you are newbie, its understandable I think.

There are some projects in the past years who did well in their token sale and some also hit their hard cap but even though these projects became successful in token sale, they run away and the investors don't know that this will happen to them.

Identifying a project that is fake or not is hard nowadays already unlike the past years where you can earn much money from bounty campaigns alone. Now, bounty campaign isn't as profitable as it is years ago and the new projects are declining year after year so it may affect the bounty hunters too. No projects = no bounty campaign.

There are no steps in identifying if a project is a scam or not. Just try and try until you succeed.

If you really want to venture into bounty hunting be warned that mostly they are time wasting, be ready for that part so that you won't feel wear off when most of these new projects don't pay bounty hunters
That's right, and I think most old bounty hunters understand that, except for those new bounty hunters, because they think all projects will be paid at the right time, and always have an exchange, which is not the case.

Definitely. A project might succeed and able to raise the required fund, but at the end, fail to pay bounty hunters, because of some flimsy excuses which they cannot say publicly. Bounty hunters have been used by several projects and just like some coins are being dumped, they have been dumped without getting paid. So it has rendered bounty hunters almost useless. Some of them would tell you that the funds they raised were not as a result of the activities of bounty hunters.

It is difficult to know which bounty campaign is good at the moment. Unfortunately, the successful bounty campaign has dropped considerably. Also, my advice you would be to choose campaigns which organized by managers with positive trust and also do your researches before join any campaign.

actually, a good bounty is very difficult to identify. so far, if the project has no problems with the team and whitepaper, it can already include a good bounty. however, for bounties that really pay, you can choose to join a project that has been registered in several markets, or have collaborated with it. so far it's quite difficult to find a bounty like that, but you just have to wait for it.

No one can tell you which is which. The only thing you can do is to do in-depth research about the project and see for your self if they are legitimate or not. If you ask for other's opinions, they will either shill a project or tell you to do your own research. Most projects make their white paper really enticing for investors, just look for the project who doesn't hive out to many promises for income and shows an achievable road map.

You can choose a reliable bounty hunter publisher that will make you more likely to succeed and you can find it in the forum. Or you can see what great people are doing. You can join, but your level is a bit low. So first of all, you need to raise the forum level to participate more effectively in bounty activities. This is just a friendly suggestion.

Unfortunately, even experienced bounty hunters often fall into scam companies, and we cant do nothing with it, so just do not pay attention to it and participate in a huge number of bounty companies and then at least some bounty companies will pay you tokens and you will simply turn a blind eye on the scam companies.
Yes and it is because just how we are getting our experiences here inside the crypto world they're also getting their experiences and finding new ways to lure people into their scam bounties so this will likely happen to newbies. I agree that you just join multiple bounty and pick the best ones and also check if the task they are asking you to do is fair to the reward you are getting.
