It is true and hence a vice. One needs to control their greed and not go under control of the greed. If one is not responsible of their gambling they can easily make huge losses even when they feel they are not going to make any since they are blinded by greed. This does not necessarily mean that it will end their lives because many people are able to control gambling and not get addicted to it.

Well, it is discipline is the most important. It is also the most consistent major in gambling. Because if we play the way that is not true or just concerned about something that is only on one side. Or it could be said that you play with lust or carelessly. So it will definitely make your addiction become more acute and finally get a big loss. Self control, discipline, consistent, and also the plan is the most important thing you have. If that's all you can have definitely later will have a strategy which gives a lot of advantages

Precisely, it's even been researched that repeating something for more than six times forms a character in you and so if you make a conscious effort to follow and stick to your plan for more than six times I'm hopeful you can control your greed and be a better gambler.

There is no other way for a productive person than to look for a branch of income that is at least equivalent to a gambling income, this is very effective for people who like to think hard. Gambling requires trial and error but many people give up and think gambling is a mistake, so are greedy gamblers, eventually they will fall and will not be able to control themselves.

in managing your greed in gambling you should set a limit and rules for playing and dont break the rule even once because once you broke the rule you will have a harder guts to break it again.
in other case if you are already greedy and dont control your self, better have a diversifying tactic. maybe have a vacation and and reset or have another hobby like playing sports or study a new skill like cooking or baking. control is the prime key

Maybe you can make a commitment but the question is once you gamble and stop you should stop gambling forever otherwise its simply addiction without any other factor taken into consideration. In the first place you make a statement to yourself not to gamble again after this match. After a few days the winning money is to gambled by the same person. However blindly gambling is not the thing. One must gamble responsibly.

It is a simple solution that if we have no control of our greed then don't gamble. But do you think that anyone gambler follow it?
Because as i think, when we enter in gambling, then it is not easily to left it in a second. But we could manage ourself as a gambler, Because we have greed when we have a lot of money to use in gambling and always we wan to win and sometime it is opposite that we have little money and try to win big jackpot. So in this situation, we need to keep in our mind that gambling is a game, it is not a business where we every time want money.

I set up limit for my bankroll that is why I dont over gamble. I dont lose alot of money because I only bring a small amount, so even if I lose everything then it is fine for me. Bring enough money in you and Leave your atm at home. This I think it could help you control it. Allocate your money properly, Since you only have enough for you to gamble and for you to eat and have a fare for you to go home. I guess the idea of having the exact amount when playing is preventing your greediness to be active. Well I guess it's hard but self control using simple strategy could benefit you in the future.
