I agree that bringing a small amount will lessen the feeling of losing but, to be honest,
playing gambling for fun may work for someone but it also doesn't work for everyone
greed will always be there no matter what you do but the best thing to control it is
you determination it also depends on how strong is your determination.

Problem is they go in with a small amount in mind but then end up with a huge loss just because they cannot control their greed and cant stop playing even if they want to. Because their minds make them play more and more just because the jackpot is huge. It is not certain that they will surely win the jackpot rather they may not but they will still waste money trying to win that amount.

To control your greed, you must plan it first. Of course fo your plan, you should clarify yourself that you have a specific target and if you reached that, you'll stop otherwise you'll lose. Stay on your clear plan and don't go through anything else so your focus is to win and the control is with you.

Thats always been stated to create a good plan or strategies before you start playing but its harder than what we think, fighting from your own greediness and controling such emotions for sure will take long time before you will really overcome those problem after that you will be able control greediness and start focusing by aiming little earnings instead of going big time.

I agree that controling oneself is kinda hard especially if we are not used on doing it. Most of us let our desirs and wants to take over so when the time comes that we need to control them, we find ourselves having difficulty since we have not done it but eventually due to determination and focus we will able to control our greed. It just take time for a beginner to cope and have everything in control, well every task do.

It seems to me that talking about controlling yourself while gambling is just a mockery of this topic. No gambler can stop the game just because it can be deplorable. Gamblers play until the last cent in their pocket.

For others it will work I guess because you already proved if yourself. But for most gamblers is very difficult to play for fun because they are already addicted to it. I read that for some they considered gambling as a regular job, which should not be because you can't control the outcome and you will end it losing more. As for me, I don't gambling that much often as I should because I'm not pre occupied with other things that my mind don't think of gambling anymore. I didn't think that I should totally quit, but with my schedules and other stuff in life, it makes me impossible to play. Well its bring a positive impact to me because my mind and body doesn't want to play anymore.

for people which is new in gambling, they should know about this and will double thinking to playing gambling because they can be greedy while they are in gambling place. it is hard to control greed and we can lose our mind to just pursuit our winning but as long as you can controlled your mind, then i think you can control your greed too.

Then who needs to know when to stop? If one dont get reminded by someone to stop they may just gamble away their entire property and then only realize how grave the decision was. Some people are addicted and have become mentally unsound and they need someone to look after them. Maybe you are not one of them and have a very strong mind but in that case you are a exception as most people are not like that.

Well you are right. Guys remember one thing, greed starts from win and not from a loss. You if in your initial stages of gambling loose money you will hate it and stop gambling. While if you win money you are more and more optimistic and loose a lot in that hope.

Controlling greed is only possible if you have a limited budget, right mindset (basically mindset here I mean why you are gambling ? set a goal !) and you have the ability to stop yourself when you are winning which is sometimes the most difficult task.

We need to know when to stop because sometimes we are overwhelmed that we don't because we mostly think that it's fine to keep on gambling. And by controlling our greed we need to realize that we need to be aware that there is something wrong when we are always thinking about money. In that case, just stop thinking about money first.

for the inexperience and greedy people i think it is not so easy to know the right time to take a right decision, they always try to continue ther gambling games until they lose every thing.

For myself I set my limits like if I reach 50% of the profits of what I have deposited ( 1.5x ) ,I will just cashout my money and not look back for the day. And I won't deposit more than 0.025 in a single day at all and weekly max is 0.1 bitcoins.

Having goals and limitations would really a great help for you in able to control yourself when you hit up a certain point or goal you will able to stop gambling but sometimes its really hard to do such thing specially when we are already addicted on gambling even we set a particular goal we usually surpass that limit and decide to play even more because of greed on seeking more money.
