Yo black, in most countries they're using bitcoin fer nefarious purposes. They using col' cash for all that too. Cain't do nothing about that 'cept to divert yo pops attention away from the mainstream media where they be slammin bitcoin like it was a retard hockey player. How old is you anyway? You old enough now whereby you ought not to care what pops thinks? I say jist let it go. Y'all don't have to convince nobody but yourself.
You really just need to show him bitcoin's steady growth since the beginning. Ever since it was created, it's value has slowly but surely increased over the years. Show him how reliable in can be compared to government currencies!
Always provide good opportunities coming from this currency for sure your dad will be interested if he see big chances to earn coming from bitcoin as we already enjoying this investment.

Here is the story: My dad just found out that I am storing bitcoin and he try to prevent me from using this crypto. This is absolutely the worst situation I have ever had since I started used Bitcoin. I am living in the country which bad guys abuse Bitcoin for illegal activities. Therefore, most of the people here who do not have a proper knowledge about bitcoin believe bitcoin as a stupid, dummy coin or even MLM. My dad is one of them. Any solution to solve this problem ? My family did the same to me. It is quite understandable that they have the inability to think forward in some cases, because they are taught to earn money from 9-5, save it in the bank and trust no investments.
If he doesn't believe this bitcoin thing, then so be it. It's his loss.

i think if you want to convince your dad that bitcoin is trustful currency you can suggest bitcointalk forum because there is a huge information about bitcoin and in the first i was also do not trust in bitcoin when i join this forum then i accept that bitcoin is really trustful currency.
First things first is that I would let my father experience how to use bitcoins first and that afterwards, let him see the good and the bad side of bitcoin. Actually, it's really hard to change one's mind especially if they are really accustomed to using one thing for the course of their lifetime, and letting them use new tech is like alien to them, so you need to have patience and give your understanding if they could not cope with it at first. For me, I'm just gonna give him a few bitcoins to start with and let him spend it to whatever he pleases, explain to him what bitcoin is and let him decide from thereafter.
Don't tire yourself up. Some people are just stone headed. No matter how many times you explain things, they won't get it. Even if they understand it, they will always have suspicions (i have tooi but that doesn't prevent me using it)

For me, I don't have to do anything to convince anyone around me that bitcoin is a trustful currency. If they look into it as a bad currency then so be it. After all, if they will see me really getting benefits from using bitcoin at regular basis then that thoughts of theirs will be changed in the future.
In your case I see it's not problem. Your father will listen to you no matter what rather than the bad news spreads around. Answer all of his doubts and questions. Like you said, bad guys there abuse bitcoin so why the hell bitcoin is the main concern here rather than those bad guys?
What is the purpose of family talks? It's the most effective when dealing with a concern between the members of the family. He should listen after you make such strong foundation and basis about your claims pointing to bitcoin.
But the problem here lies on the authority. Parents are responsible for their kid. And since bitcoin had bad name in their country, it is natural for parents to worry if they found one of their kids is using or involved with bitcoin activity.
If you try to reason out, it will only result to a heated argument especially OP is still a teenager, his father will more likely not listen to him. All OP can do is to follow his father's demand. It is just a matter of respect and understanding. And this father is just protecting his kids.
Btw, if everything cools down, try to persuade your father that bitcoin is not bad as he thinks. and then show him all the proof of what you are saying.
So I would suggest to follow first (this will open a more senseful conversation) , then after sometime, explain to him what really bitcoin is.
Talk to him about the mathematics behind bitcoin, try to fully understand how it works and then explain it to your dad, i think that will def help him to accept. Criminals always use the leading tech of their time it gives them an advantage.
Well, you have to seek for some high quality news about bitcoin. You can start just from its legal status, Switzerland where you can buy them in the airport and Sweden planning to switch to their own cryptocurrency. Well, for a teenager it is always a problem to explain something to adults, because they don't respect each other mostly.
You need to start right at the beggining and show him videos/books (depending on how old school he is haha) to learn what a bitcoin actually is. It's just a public ledger where you transfer around money and people confirm that it's been moved around by mining. Miners also 'create' bitcoins when they solve a block. That's how I would do it.

For me i already solve this problem before because my father seen that i am getting a good benefits in bitcoin and how i addicted to use bitcoin..
And also it helps me a lot i do not need to ask for money to them i just withdraw my few bitcoin and use in my study.
So now they are heard some news about bitcoin when they are searching like stores in brazil that accepting bitcoin.. bitcoin banks..
So it is depends in you how you show what is the benefits of bitcoin and it is trusted.. since i am living 1 year with bitcoin they are accepting it because i never arrested by someone.. so to it is trusted.. because they are thinking before that it is scam or illegal that is why they are stopping me to use bitcoin..
