You need to store all personal information on a separate medium. All passwords and keys are stored in a place where there is no access to the Internet. I also work from a computer that I use exclusively to work with cryptocurrencies. You can buy a hardware wallet.

To ensure the safety of wallet you need to deal very carefully with your private informations. I will suggest never to sahre your private keys with anyone. This might be harmful. And while choosing a wallet be very careful that you are choosing the right one.

I am new one in this market place, so it is important to know the safety issues of the wallet. Please someone help to understand the issues of safety of the market.
The safety of our wallet is come from us, the way we handled it. Some people are using hard wallet( Ledger Nano) but still it can be hack due to visiting phishing sites. That's why we should be carefull in doing transaction especially when it involves private keys and never share keys into strangers.

If you want to secure your wallet then secure your code/password, seeds. It will not be hacked by anyone if its not exposed online. You should avoid phishing sites too because it will hack your account.

If you use desktop wallet, be sure that you never downloaded any pirated software or make sure that your pc is virus-free otherwise it's wallet threatening, if you use online wallet like MEW, you better download the website, make it local to your computer so that you will have a really little chance of being phished, otherwise if you don't want all those complicated things just simply buy a hardware wallet, by using this, you will have a high level security since when someone else controlling this address, they will need a confirmation from you through the hardware wallet.
I've using hardware wallet since long ago and never got stolen my balances so it's securely proven I must say.

The choice of the e-wallets will depend mainly on the cryptos you possess. And usually, if you use any e-wallet you should increase security by asking security question, enable two-factor authenticator. This will help your wallet minimize the risk of hackers appropriating assets. But for safest, store cryptos in cold wallets like ledge nano s and trezor.

If you use myetherwallet you should always check the ssl certificate in your browner. I also recommend to use hardware wallets.

There are so many scammers but in my experience I never had any problem with any exchange site. To ensure your wallet become safety and make sure you will never try to involved into the any suspicious activity. I can say after you have created, opened, or used your wallet and then closed your wallet and never try ti published any data that related to your wallet such as email, password, DAT or jsonfile, and privatekey

I'm not gonna say "keep your private key secure"

Never mind the software wallets, if you are getting in the crypto business for real, use a hardware wallet. It's the most secure way to store your portfolio. If it's hard to obtain a hardware wallet in your location, you turn an external hard disk to a hardware wallet, if you want to know how, use google, I'm not a tech expert.

He said, "I am new one in this marketplace". The idea you gave is not good for newbies. Hardware wallet is more suitable for experienced users. He can make an irreversible mistake while he using hardware wallet.

Hardware wallet is quiet not convenient for a newbie so I think it's better to use local wallets on their place and keep your keys on private or even use 2fa Authentication. We really have to protect our wallet or else we will be broke to see our coins gone.

Move to a hardware wallet once you have got to know a little bit of what a wallet is and what are the keys etc.
So don't be scared of starting with online wallets to have that experience and if and when you'll have enough funds to justify a hardware wallet you can transfer to that

If you are using mobile wallet like eidoo etc, ensure you write down your backup phrase. Do not save it on your phone. Also, your Exchange Account lock it with 2fa, I always like Authy authenticator, this is because all your keys are backed up. Your email address, use a strong password to lock it and enable 2fa too. Also ensure you are entering the right websites, you can bookmark them so that you won't get phished.

Most would suggest to use a hardware wallet which is good.
When accessing sites that would require private keys, I always use metamask.
Avoid opening sites which you get from emails.

If safety is your priority then I recommend you go for a hardware wallet like trezor. If you can't afford and use online wallet then try to keep your private key safe from anyone

for wallet security issues if you use online wallet like myetherwallet you can use and make sure to always access it properly. but I suggest adding an external wallet as an option to keep our asset security as nano or trezzor as possible.

 Huh
I am new one in this market place, so it is important to know the safety issues of the wallet. Please someone help to understand the issues of safety of the market.

I think the best answer for this is to always do measures to avoid others, even people close to you to actually have the chance to know your wallet information, especially it's safety features like your password, or even the wallet itself. I say that not because I don't trust anyone, but it is from the idea that the more people who knows those details, the more chances it can actually spread and be used to your disadvantage. Basically, if you want to safeguard your wallet, you have to do necessary moves to do that rather than saying that you want it say, but you give out your wallet info like it's an ordinary thing.

Proper encryption is the only way of ensuring  your wallet is safe, there are lots of hackers out there, just waiting for you to make sillyistakea so they can pick your Passwords and make away with your coins, avoid frequently logging in to to wallets too, it might be of help

The safety issues you should know in crypto is that in crypto you are in charge of your wallet and the funds inside it, if anyone manage to get access to your wallet information, you will lose all your fund inside the wallet, so what you have to do is guide your wallet information with your life.

I am new one in this market place, so it is important to know the safety issues of the wallet. Please someone help to understand the issues of safety of the market.

firstly, what currencies do you use?

Use electrum wallet, and while will you create the wallet, create with TWO-FACTOR auth option. Don't share your private key with anyone, only share your public address key.

if you are using erc-20 coins, you must use myether wallet with "Metamask". but use only with "MetaMask".

and i want to give a off-topic advice;
While you save your private keys and wallet passwords, save your passwords to "KeePass software". KeePass is an open-source, password manager. The software creates very difficult passwords for each of your account.
I highly recommend the software.

Well said.

I'd also add that you might want to invest in a hardware wallet (trezor, etc.) in case you want to go the extra mile for safety.
