If you want to learn about Bitcoin just google and revise videos.
I followed your advice and started to google for information about bitcoin, particularly I was searching for how and where I can buy bitcoin because I assume that is the first thing every newbie will start searching for. The very first result I got was the article from Investopedia that says that the most popular ways to buy bitcoin are centralized exchanges like Coinbase, brokerages like Robinhood, and services like PayPal. The second result was the article from Coinbase that explains how to buy Bitcoin on Coinbase. The third result was the article from bitcoin.com, which is a website dedicated to scam bitcoin fork and not bitcoin. Needless to say, the results I had were terrible and misleading. If I were a complete newbie, I would already give away all the information about yourself to centralized exchanges, learn nothing about the importance of self-custody of your keys, read a ton of misleading bullshit about Bitcoin Cash being better and faster than Bitcoin. Why would that happen to me? Because being a newbie in this field, I don't know how to distinguish terrible information from useful one.

Bitcoin is the oldest and largest in the cryptocurrency worldwide. It is a decentralized currency that is not control by any countries of the world. You don't need to pay any taxes to government before using it in the community because is not a centralized currency which government has power over in the country.
Bitcoin is an asset you can invest on and start earning profit from it either monthly or yearly in the community. Bitcoin has rules which everybody must obey to become successful in the future.

For beginners, at first it will be difficult for themselves to understand what bitcoin is, and what it is eaten with Smiley To understand the process of work, it usually takes a lot of time.
That's why OP is asking how can we make them learn bitcoin, of course it's going to take time but the only problem is that not everyone is an expert and learning about bitcoin from them is the worst thing because it has a mixture of opinions that might cause inaccuracies.

Explaining bitcoin to the newbies is really a difficult task and specially to those who are unaware of the Digital technology. Those who are having a little knowledge about the crypto world or the Digital technology are easy to tackle and to explain about the bitcoin.

Someone who is "unaware of the digital technology"? I am not sure I have encountered someone like that in my lifetime. Maybe you meant people who are not accustomed to digital technology? In this case, it is true, it is difficult to explain cryptocurrency to someone who does not use at least the basics of modern technology.

This is a really good idea. They can't understand bitcoin at all if they don't know how to use technology. Well, this is typical of third-world countries, where there are still areas without internet or cell phone service. In most rural areas, people have no idea what a computer or an Android phone even are. In those remote areas, people do have phones, but they aren't android or iphones; they just use them to make and receive phone calls and text messages. This is a good start, however, because it will evolve over time and they will eventually begin to use the internet.

Bitcoin is the first  cryptocurrency  and the best cryptocurrency in the market that rules other cryptocurrency.  Bitcoin is the most reliable  cryptocurrency and the most popular. This are the first thing a beginner won't don't have knowledge about cryptocurrency needs to know.
Of course what you said is something that is very true and indeed acknowledged, because we also know that whatever is discussed about crypto, the first thing that comes to people's minds is bitcoin and nothing else, even though we know that crypto is very much and continues to grow.

This clearly indicates that whatever crypto is said at the outset is about bitcoin, so the connotation that crypto is bitcoin is very obvious, even though it's certainly wrong because it's not like that.

so it's not just beginners but all of them will do things like that and by getting to know more about crypto it will open up that crypto is very much and needs to be learned all the time because there are always changes.

It might sound unreal but there are people who are really lacking knowledge and awareness on todays technology on we do have which would really result into that illiteracy of things which makes it more

hard for someone to pass up valuable informations which would really be connected or in related with todays tech and trends. There are still people who are like this specially on

rural areas on which technology isn't really that much been adopted or not been rampant on existence which these people would be leave out behind.

difficult? I do not think so. the comparison is now quite a lot, the media that supports it are also not small and now there really is no need to explain at length what bitcoin is.
I think give them bitcoins and save them within a few months, when the price increases they will understand and don't need to explain at length in words they will realize by themselves that bitcoin is very good for investment

They also need to understand the potential of bitcoin, if they will just sell and take profit, that is so easy as bitcoin will eventually rise. However, them knowing its potential in the future, they'll not only keep what they receive, they might also try to continuously invest until they invest a decent amount for a better future.

Information online is very helpful if one wants to learn, in fact, we can educate ourselves without a problem as long as we are resourceful enough to search for the necessary information to help us improve our knowledge. Explaining to a newbie should be easy, just go with the basic and let them do the rest, the more they dig deeper, the more information they'll know and that would help them more intelligent when it comes to investing.

I agree. The internet has enormous information about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Also, many known personalities, brands and companies have been into cryptocurrency during these times that is why there has been more input regarding it. It’s just important to note that such information should still be filtered based on the legitimacy of the sources.

They are lucky they have someone to guide them, if I would tech someone, I will let them explore and tell them just ask me if you have some doubts so I could refer you to the site where you can learn on a specific matter. it's not good to spoon feed them the information as they will be too reliant to you, and worst if if they blame you if they failed.

Yes you are a good teacher, beside you teach and explain all thing about bitcoin, i think guide are better than teach.
They should explore by themselves, because internet give a huge information about anything, and exploring in internet are fun
You will teach Bitcoin to someone and the person understand very well base on the way you understand the Bitcoin, you may know bitcoin but you will not know how to explain to another person to understand, it's the same thing like class room teachers or lectures, some of them knows more better but the knowledge can not be impact to their students according to their level of intelligent, the person that introduce to Bitcoin really know btc but to teach person to understand is war, because it does not have the methods or foundation of teaching

There's a friend about Bitcoin last 2 years who have no interest in it but I was surprised when he came to me last week to tell me what he need to know about Bitcoin. I asked him why the sudden change of heart, he told me about the testimony he hear from someone and how he would have made enough profit effortlessly.

He's still a newbie. My question is, is there a way or link for to explain Bitcoin to newbies?

Apart from the forum rules and regulations is there a thread on this forum that explains in detail the whole concept of crypto currency on this forum?

Your case is a vivid example of the fact that people see in Bitcoin only a speculative instrument, and this is sad.

BTC is more than that, but the desire for profit overshadows the eyes. BTC is a kind of ideology or belief, belief in a bright future, hope to gain freedom and independence, which people have lost in the modern banking system.

BTC is not just technology, it's magic (remember Clark's 3rd Law), a tool with which you can change the world into the world of the future.

Try to start with this.
Help your friend look at BTC from a different perspective, not just as a way that will allow him to buy a lambo. Try to inspire and impress him with the opportunities he can get.

It will take time if the person you're explaining and teaching bitcoin isn't really listening to you. I've got a few friends that I've discussed bitcoin only a few times.
And then, they did the rest of their own research and eventually, they kept asking questions which is a good sign and they've learned on their own. It really depends on the person's enthusiasm if they really are interested in bitcoin.
This is true, and I've got similar experience with my friends. As it is Christmas friends who are working away from hometown for work-life used to return home. So, I met two friends and both of them discussed on their own about cryptocurrencies. It was quite astonishing, because to one person I introduced our forum few years back.

He ignored and now he said I could've invested back. Now he have started a month ago and invested just $150. Other one talked about cryptocurrencies as he knew I was into the market. This has been happening as the awareness and visibility of the cryptocurrency is found better than past days.

Indeed. Giving them the privilege and responsibility of controlling and making use of their freedom in learning bitcoin is better than spoon-fed teaching method. Newbies would learn to think critically and analyze things on their own, unlock the gaps on their knowledge, and be able to make their own decisions. Spoon feeding brings out the laziness of people, most of the time, and being too reliant to others can hinder them to grow and really  learn.

now it has been widely spread on the internet and on youtube explaining what bitcoin is, just type it in a search but the problem is whether they believe in bitcoin regardless of the wishful thinking of big profits?

Many beginners don't realize that bitcoin is a very volatile asset, if they can't hodl it then when the market is bearish they will sell their btc.

When beginners think of Bitcoin, the next moment they imagine of a huge profit if they invest in it so and thats how the media and friends around, have showcased as getting profits by investing some money into Bitcoin. But they tend to realize after they invest what is real and how the profit should be gained. Yes, they need to either learn by themselves or someone has to explain them about the volatile market and how it moves. Everyone might have gone through such situation when we pitched into this forum or when we invested into bitcoin.

I would simplify it very easy, I ask you how much you have saved in your bank? According to what they tell me, I take out the annual interest, which I am sure will never reach 20%, however I take it out, and then I tell them, well, your annual interest can do it in BTC in just 3 or 4 months, and if you have good luck you can see it at more than 24% and not annually, of course those who are traders get more than that, but it is good to let them know that this way of moving money is better than leaving it in a bank where large corporations earn with your few cents, I think that's the easiest way to explain it, through the numbers.
