explaining bitcoin to adults like people age between 25-45 are peitty much tougher than explaing the same thing to teenagers. hence i must prefer that i am still not at my teen ages and i first understanded about bitcoin at the age 14 and i learned it myself nobody tought me. its already very intrestong subject all you have to do is talk to other peoples thats it
Here I too have the same opinion that a person in a very young age can not all information about bitcoin perceive and use to your benefit. It has grown up, it is possible to show and tell what bitcoin and learn to work with him.

In Spain, we use cartoon videos to explain to children in school. Usualy more effective than an article on forbes lol
Not all as it should be taught in schools, or at least show an introductory video about cryptocurrency.

I don't think teenagers will show interest on bitcoin. Also they can't understand bitcoin properly. We just can give them some faucet or bitcoin play apps to earn happily. But I won't described children about bitcoin because it's not the perfect time. They should focus on their study to build a very good future.
yes that is a fact and to me i think they do not need to learn about bitcoin because still bitcoin is not using as currency in most of the areas, whereas people are using it for investment. hope in future people will be using bitcoin as currency and then teen agers will also learn about bitcoin.

I don't think kids are supposed to understand even the lowest level of economics and finances, so we don't have to suggest terms, such as bitcoins, at a very young age. Knowledge must grow up with human itself step by step. At some point they will know money, then currencies, then economics, then algorythms etc...  Smiley
When it comes time to do all the children will learn. I think that all depends on how fast bitcoin will become popular. If they are to be usable by all people, the children, too.

It maybe true, teenagers or children are still difficult to understand bitcoin in correctly. They must be able to know the basics bitcoin, but I'm sure they could not manage bitcoin well and correctly. But you're right in the future crypto like bitcoin will evolve, so it is not wrong to introduce bitcoin to them. Using the method explained slowly and gradually it will help them to understand little by little.
To at least a basic knowledge of bitcoin instill in the child, you must first determine the age at which a child will be able to understand and figure out what it is he needs. Otherwise there is a risk to push him away from the bitcoin.
I don't know I mean Bitcoin is not really made for kids after all. Maybe we can skip Bitcoin at that part of their life. Teaching them something new and diverse in their new and not completely develop cognitive skills might give them problems rather than solutions. Start with the basics such as saving money from their allowances than later go on to stages like investing their money on something. Then later on in time they might take a look at Bitcoin for their own benefit.

I think it would be better if we just let children enjoy their lives. Since they are still dependent on their parents, they don't need to learn bitcoin ASAP and as technology advances and bitcoin grows, I think they'll know about it at the right time. In regards with teenagers, mostly they are into web browsing, side job hunting and tech exploring that's why it might be easier for them to learn about bitcoin with just little supervision. Just teach them the basics, how bitcoin works and what can we do with it, as long as they get interested into it, they will make a way to learn more about it.

They will have to learn life skills like budgeting, though. Bitcoin is a good way to teach them the concept of, "You have X amount of value tokens, and when it's gone, it's gone." Or would you rather cripple them in life by teaching them that they might not always be able to buy the most expensive Lego set in the store no matter how badly they want it?

If bitcoin will have good prospects, it is the science of bitcoin blockchain and technology included in the school curriculum. This will be the best option for the future of children.

Live with peace and enjoy life!
Teaching children takes a lot of time even simple commands it needs a good and eventually a will deliberation in order for them to understand.I dont think that it might be a good point on teaching them bitcoin, learning for them especially that it also involves gambling at an early age they are not yet consider to discover the world were there is taking risks and even open their eyes on how money works, let it be through time that they will be able to understand but not to teach them at the early age.

here in the philippines just explain to them that bitcoin can earn money then thats it . Some teenagers here are practically want money than other things.
probably in most of the population of Southeast Asia, most teenagers already know how to work, so I'm sure when you tell them that they can get money easily in bitcoin, I'm sure they would be interested
I don't think so, most of people in Southeast Asia never taught their child to go for working instead forcing them to always learn to be a "workers" when they're becoming adult and graduated with a good score and aiming to be employee for working in an office, just minority of them will learn to earn money when still a kid while the other having fun with their parents' money

Its hard for children. Maybe I will take my children to fastfood which supported by bitcoin payment, and let them watch me pay with it.
And for teenagers. I'll just inviting teenagers to this forum, i tell the benefit, they will find all the way to earn.

in my opinion in explaining about bitcoin to the youth was not too difficult because most of them would have been familiar with the world of technology, gadgets it easier again we stayed addressed basically what it bitcoin as he practiced them so do not just theory, good luck and success

there is no special way of explaining bitcoin against children. we just need patience as they will need a long time to get to know bitcoin. patience is a very important point.
and i am not in favour of teaching bitcoin to teenager and children. they should give time to their study. i think still people are using bitcoin trading and children should not make their mind for making money let them take interest in their study.
