It would be a hard thing to do. Above 20's could happen but below that? They dont think much about this currencies yet. Yes they are teaching other currencies in school but not bitcoin. It is not yet in our academics. Getting them to listen to what we will explain will be really difficult, they might if you are their teacher.
You need to teach them while you are working on Bitcoin, first of all, just explain the benefit using online system payment. Tell them bitcoin is the most popular nowadays, explain everything bit by bit over a long period of time so that it becomes easier for them to take in their brain. Ask them out to buy something using bitcoin payment, that will encourage them make, earn, and learn bitcoin.
I think bitcoin will be hard to explain to children. They don't have any concern regarding this. They mind is still immature to think something like this. As for teenagers, it is good to teach them about bitcoin on their age because they can earn an extra income from this.
My mom never told me what cash is and I still know how to use it. The best way to make a kid understand Bitcoin is to let them use Bitcoin commonly in daily life. However, right now it is not age of Bitcoin so everyone currently use FIAT as a main currency. If you want your kid to know more about it, you have to wait about 10 or 20 years later when Bitcoin is more popular on this planet
Maybe it is not necessary to let a kid use bitcoin on a daily basis. And maybe your mom doesn't want to bother you when it comes to money matters that's why she never told you what cash is and how you are able to use it. And I don't think that if you want to expose or let your kid know what bitcoin is, you don't have to wait for that longer years.
Yes because not all the time things that we are going to teach with ours kids are going to be helpful at all. If that is abused probably a negative result with occur and if they found out that there are some illegal activities and they gamble freely out of their curiosity and that is the consequence that we are talking about for letting them know bitcoin. Just be prepare for the best and worst.

I think its hard to explain to kids and teenager about bitcoin yes most of them on this forum are student but most of the teenager and kids are playful. The kids plating toys and do not care about this for sure. Teenager also are playful why? Because many of the teenager is addict by playing online games .Teenager is not really open minded about this opportunity those teen that accept bitcoin is open-minded and wants successful life.

That's true, explaining bitcoin to children is hard compared to explaining it to teenager... Mostly teenagers already has needs that probably not so important to parents that they don't permit it or finance it, and bitcoin could be a way to make them earn money for themselves, so while explaining to them how bitcoin works, it is good to accompany it with a certain small jobs that could really excite them...

There are lot many websites as well video links that describe the functions of bitcoin and the way it works. So gathering information about bitcoin and the sources to get knowledge regarding bitcoin can be found more as lots of people are learning about bitcoin as well other digital currencies.

The same concern I also have and that is why I will want to exclude children and children to me is up to the age of 18. Anybody after that age, I can that show level of seriousness then I can take my time to teach but the concern is when they are exposed to making some money, the possibility of losing focus is high but at that age over here, one can be held responsible for his or her actions but for me as the teacher, I will put a disclaimer and at the same time set some limits to what I will teach.

It is mean that we only need to tell them about virtual money named bitcoin and it can be good investment so they can grow their money from it. My proposal is to explain it with an "analog" example:
Bitcoin is a system where a group of people do the following:
- They create money units and distribute them.
- If Alice is providing a good or service to Bob, then Bob can sign a "letter" that he transfers an amount of BTC to Alice to pay her. The system then automatically transfers the amount from Bob to Alice.
- All the letters are stored in a public place and are visible for everyone. So everybody - Alice, too - can examine the letters (the blockchain) and see that Bob hasn't transferred Bitcoins he doesn't have.
That's obviosly only the basic part (how transactions are done) without mining, fees and double spends.

teenager is in the fond of such type of thing from which they earn money or they are in the fond of online earning so for this reason i thick teenager is the most easiest person to explain it.
