Hello! Is it still worth to invest into ICOs? If so, how do I find the good ones? Any recommendations here ?Smiley
I don't think that ICO is now worthy again like what happened in previous years. ICO seems to be an old way and that's dead. Many projects coming from ICO are dead and end up as shitcoins currently. Alhtough there may be very few project that is are successful, we cannot find them very easily.
Moreover, investing in such new projects are very risky, have you understood about this risk?
If you have and you are exactly ready with the risks, you may see on some platform-like ICO drops, but I don't think it is a good idea because the platform cannot guarantee that the project will be worthy or not. Moreover, if this is about an ICO project, even we have analyzed the project and team, concept and also the real use case seems ver interesting, but in fact, sometimes, it is too good to be true and then failed.
You may consider about getting new projects from some CEX, I mean they commonly will list new coins or tokens, and most of them are the pump coins or tokens. So, you can utilize the hype or pump tokens to get the rpfoits. But,t his way is also very high risk and I cannot suggest you to do it if you don't know how to utilize every chance of taking profit with the hype toknes. This is too risky.

there are no more ICO for now but there are IDO and IEO
There are still those projects that chose to give it a try as an ICO.
where they directly sell tokens in the market and I think they are more effective than ICO that have a lot of fraud,
IEO is much better because they're being supported by an exchange and it's an assurance that they'll get listed already on that exchange. The better the exchange, the better sale they'll get because investors are relying their trust on the exchanges. So if it's going to be for the developers choice, they would choose to be into an exchange with assurance as they put the project on sale.

I think ICOs no longer exist, from the community that I follow in new projects never discuss ICOs, but discuss IDO and ILO where one project has a very good ROI compared to icos but I know that ethereum and some big marketcap coins come from icos but this time ICO is not relevant anymore. looks old
but it doesn't rule out that there are still projects that use this

If so, how do I find a good one? There are recommendations here
very difficult because there are many projects and there are also many scamers for each project, and therefore we are required to always DYOR

thanks for all the infos! sounds like its not worth it anymore to get into ICOs Sad
Yes and it caused by so many projects are moving to the IEO and IDO. You will not find a legit ico again. The new project prefer to do their funding through use various launch pad platforms and this platform is totally worth for you to make money. Joining in IEO or IDO must become youyr priority. The ERA of ico already evolved into the launchpad launched by the trusted party to ensure if the project that was getting launched was not a scam project. it sounds good as investor get more layer for the protection from scammers. These days scammers can easily create fake project.
This launchpad platform was preventing it to happen.

Hello! Is it still worth to invest into ICOs?
It's still worth but for IEO and IEO. i rarely seen a project that was doing ico but as long as this is a legit project and that's fine. The only problem is when you are trying to join in the IEO or IDO and that will be so difficult to get at least a chance to join on it. Im still seeking for the new project caused by this can give me huge profit in a short time.

If so, how do I find the good ones? Any recommendations here ?Smiley

By 2022, what do you think about investing in ICOs?

If you've been familiar with the market for a while, I think you've got your answer Smiley

In the current market, there are many forms of attracting new investors, ICOs are too outdated. And in my opinion this stage should not be spent much time with new projects.

Your question actually consist of two questions. You can lots of ICO in Tokens (Altcoins), even simply googling question will show good results. But no one will help you with "worth investing" part. You will have to take risks yourself, make your own research. Besides, we do not know the your criteria's for investing.

It is not hard to find where to invest. It is hard to get first experience of determine whether project will turn scam or not. It is hard to build a flair for danger. Before becoming an investor I would suggest to study market trends. Because on one hand project might look demanding, on the other hand it might never raise softcap.

nowadays, I rarely hear about ICOs anymore. however, if you are still interested in investing with ICOs, you need to do some in-depth research. it is the basic principle of investment. know what you are investing in. there's no instant way to tell if it's worth it or not. Investigate all social medial, telegram, discord and more. read drafts, and whitepapers. it will lead you to decide whether it is worth investing there or not.

Exactly, the number of scam cases makes investors no longer believe in ICOs, projects that only rely on ICOs are sure to fail, I think it's safer to go to IEO, because submitting to exchanges requires a large amount of capital, usually in proportion to the target to be achieved.
IDO is the new trend now, it already overpass th exchange offering especially th ICO which results. Numerous number of scm project way back 2017. Many investos prefers to launch their project nowin IDO for security sinceit is decentralized. The developent of ICO to STO to IEO to IDO now give u more option where to put our investmet with but it wil till requires us to study the overall of the project ndho we ca benefit from it in short term or long term investment.

ICOs lost its popularity and was overtaken by the new trend (Defi, NFTs and metaverse). Though there are still projects conducting ICOs but its hard now to find a worthy projects. Due to many scam ICOs in the past many investors are not trusting them anymore and move on to the current trend. If you really want invest in ICOs, you need to do an extensive research to find a project that is unlikely to be a scam.

Usually what I do to know whether a project is good or not is to follow the discussion on dicord or telegram, I think it's easy to know whether the discussion on Telegram is purely from investors or not, and of course we can't see the discussion for 1 or 2 days, at least a week.
Apart from that, we can also do our own research on the project and see what the road map looks like,
I think there are many ways so as long as we always try nothing will be in vain,
apart from that there are indeed many projects that end up being scams and we need to be careful

From research ICO (initial coin offering) seems to be dead right now, and their are many reasons to it, but scam has the highest percentage as a reason to the death of ICO also the coming in off many other Crypto-currency features is making it hard for ICO to even recover, I don't have any recommendations for you concerning an ICO to invest but I would warn you to think this your urge through, because it could be a risky one.
I don't want use the word dead with regards to ICO but I think the correct word to say it is transitioning.

New projects are transitioning overtime. From ICO to IDO to now IGO and it will goes on and on in the future and only the middle letter will be changed Cheesy. Overall, projects that launched their ICO back a few years ago scammed many investors and it will be the same until now. There will be new projects that will be scamming investors. With regards to the OP though, I will not recommend investing into ICO's right now but if you will want to invest into new projects then maybe you can consider investing into new games and the popular ones since it is the one that is popular as of now or maybe just invest into the top coins at least there it is lower risk compare to investing into new projects.

The trend has already changed from ICO into a project related to NFT and Metaverse, but sooner or later, it will replace the other new trends. You can search for the ANN on the Altcoin board and see many new projects that you can read for more. But I do not think you can know which project is worth investing in. Even if you find it from other sources, it will not be easy to know it. But investing in a new project will have a big risk because we do not know if that project can grow in the future. So it is better to invest in reliable projects that already get popularity among us.

ico is over, that's what I'm thinking at the moment.
lots of scams out there, almost everyone has no trust in ico.
there is no any recommendation for you, hope you stay careful.

but if you find an ico that you think is worth investing in, then my advice, get profit as soon as possible if you have the opportunity to do so.

If you don't know anything about investing in ICOs, of course this will be very risky and I don't think we should put money in investments that we don't understand because ICOs have not developed for a long time, investors are more into new trends in NFT or other initial investments.
I, who have been familiar with investing in ICOs for a long time, are still a little hesitant because it can't be expected anymore unless I invest in existing ones such as top and popular coins, but if you want to invest at the start of a new project, of course we must have knowledge about it.

ICOs, as far as I'm aware, are no longer available! It has been replaced by NFT mintings and the NFT bubble, which are sold in the NFT marketplace, where people wait for another idiot to buy an ugly artwork at a higher price. Even if these initial coin offerings (ICOs) exist today, they only play a minor role in the cryptosphere.

But then, if you insist in finding which ICO's are worth investing then I think these resources could help:
- 🌍 Guidelines, how to spot a scam ICO & report effectively. ✔

The concept of spotting a scam ICO is almost the same for finding NFT's though.

If asked if it is still  worth it, the answer is still, but it depends on which project is chosen. To choose a good project, we really have to understand it and see what the future plans are, you can look at the whitepaper of the project and see the team, the concept, the allocation of funds and also the future plans. if it is worth following then it will be good at least you can get a big profit. so it all depends on what projects are chosen to invest in. don't be easily tempted by tempting lures but have a good look and understand for yourself whether it's worth following or not.
