Hello, as everyone can see, a lot of ICO's price dropped significantly and founders are not delivering anything, because they don't care. People lost their money and hope.

Is there a way to get investors money back by involving government and police?

What if collective group of investors opens a lawsuit similar like is happening now with Tezos?

I believe the only way we could get our money back after investing in an ICO, is just by selling the coins that we got from the ico that we join in.
Without it, i think we won't be able to take back the money that we invest on, except if the project is unsuccessful, then we would get our money refunded.

Unfortunately, most ICOs only have a return policy for investors if they do not reach the softcap. In addition to the terms and conditions they also mention this, and investors almost no rights.

Today, nothing can be done to do something, because the ICO market today is not ready to do it. There is only hope for developers who would be really very cool if they sent money back, provided that the project did not raise funds.

You can do this only if the tokens are worth the same price as stated for the ICO, otherwise it seems to me that you will fail!

Choose an ICO where the founder and its team do really care about the project.

I see some projects that do really care a lot of with what they are working on. And if you want to file a law suit then you can do the same thing so SEC and its appropriate local body will take action.

it's hard to get investor money back, even though it will involve the government and the police, how to sue it, whereas legally in crypto is a free area, everyone can do anything here. so if there is an error it will return to personal intuition

Most of the ICO's do not offer refund. Some offer token buy-back. I have also seen some offering direct refunds but most of the time you can not get a refund. I suggest you learn more about ICO's before investing in them.

Participating and investing in an ICO is a high risk investment decision! If you want an investment where you you want government to intervene in case of loss, you should have gone for government regulated, packaged investment available to you!

Right now there are some projects that give back the investors their money if the projects does not do well but that is only a small percentage of people who are doing that now, most of the projects just take off with the investors money when the projects does not work out and they do not even bother to tell the investors what their money was used for or where it is going
But we are not only interested in the money that is being returned to investors, but also the money that does not pay for the work of the bounty hunters. Even if the project did not reach soft or hard cap, but people (bounty hunters) did their work, why they are not paid. exactly the same scam. If your project is not successful so pay from your wallet

what is tezos?
we cannot sue the developer because they also have a road map. indeed there are some companies that have lost their road maps. but if you are an investor, try not to complain because you are only thinking about how to get instant money and become a millionaire, while the market is unpredictable. and developers are confused because they also cannot regulate the market.

Sometimes it is possible if company operates with SEC legislation. But in most cases it will get you nowhere. Fraud is common story in crypto, so don't refuse it, there is nothing strange in it.
just make deep review of ICO you want to participate in and that's it.

I hope you understand that investing in ICOs is very risky and can also lead to such situations. No, you won't get any refund, after the ICO has successfully completed. The only thing you can do is to wait and hope,  that the team and the devs will do something.

This is impossible, and your understanding of coins is almost zero. This type of investment will go bankrupt, you have to be careful. You need to understand the Ethereum of smart contracts. Investing in ICO does not allow you to retrieve any coins. Only the coins issued by the project party.

I know that many companies after ICO fail usually gets money back to investors, or at least 30% of investments.

Well, some developers or CEOs of some projects might not be sincere with their dealings with investors.
Then it is also very essential that you do your own research before joining or investing into any project.
Then i do not think there is any body available to regulate the activities of ICOs, except you are dealing with STOs.
Another opportunity is if you know the country of residence of the project, then you can report to the government there, if they are ready to tale it up.

Investing in ICOs is is highly risky and it is your responsibility taking that risk. High profit goes with high risk, this is why we have to do a deep research on the project prior investing into it (WP, Team, Roadmap, social media etc.)

It seems to me that you will not refund money from a large number of projects, because there are so many scammers in crypto projects, you should invest in projects that warn you that they can return the money

I guess its a long process and how much you spend in the ICO project because if you involved the government I am pretty sure you have to spend during the process.  If you invested heavily, then maybe you should try. A lesson learned here, is don't invest blindly.
