@yxt: thank you for your offer!

ASIC miner, Scrypt miner, ASIC miner, Scrypt miner, ASIC miner, Scrypt miner... Scrypt miner! is the flavor of the day.

At the moment, I'm looking for the Scrypt miner. Anybody anything? In fact, I scrolled back the thread, htank for the many offers for ASIC, but there seems to be less talk about Scrypt miners.

The price includes the shipping costs from CN to Europe, VAT, importcosts and we offer much longer warranty.
But I am always open for an offer

In Europe: Do not buy without an offer from me.Wink

If you don't trust me you can pay with PayPal

Just curious is price up to date instead of 340 direct from Bitmain its a little over 500 dollars?  Also looking at sig are you still official seller with asicminer, and rockminer I thought both were gone at this point.

Happy Mining

Unacceptable, I am totally puzzled by your (old) screenshot back when bitcoin price was $1100+, and the URL you show looks like some local proxy...

notlist3d, thanks; you may be right about the notion of buy new from Bitmain, as I haven't seen any decent offers on Ebay for now.

It's a "favorite" of Bitstamp I saved way back when & just copied the link over when I reinstalled my Win7,it reminds me of better times, how it saved the price? I have no idea  Wink

Yeah, thats a screenshot of my S3+'s OC/UC section (taken on March 22 2015) that I PM to Ebay sellers to see if their S3's have the proper firmware,as not all S3+'s can OC/UC.

In the US Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=antminer+S3%2B&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc

I know your not US based, but it's just an example of what the S3+'s are going for  Wink

The problem with ebay there is a lot are US only auctions. Sadly this limit's other countries on auctions which can cause more competition so higher price.

As a seller they just make it very very easy to make it US only when you list a auction.

Sadly it is true on new S5's the secondary market is not to much less then a new S5 from bitmain and comes with 90 warrenty.  Which is good and bad.  Bad for buying trying to get a deal, but good as a seller they ran them for a while and get almost what they spent is pretty good way to ROI.

Ebay for now is a great place for S3's and older I would say.   Current gen Bitmain, SP, Avalon all are holding price decent.

Best of luck getting one!

Well the 3 current gen are Bitmain S5, SP20, and Avalon 4.1 as far as I consider current gen "home" miners.

Most likely because of price you will go twords S5.  I would suggest ordering from Bitmain.  But there are also that sell in hardware forum aswell.

I don't think there is a good Europe miner site.   They all seem to charge a good amount more then ordering direct.
Thumbs up or thank you; or how does it work on this forum.

Well you could order on forum in hardware area or ebay.  But if your order direct from bitmain you get a 90 day warrenty. With Europe miners shipped from there do normally have a vat.   Secondary sellers are normally less on vat.

Unacceptable is right if very low electricity a S3 can roi quick from ebay.  But with Europe I'm guessing electricity is not cheap.

Personally if it was me I would look at Bitmain's website and order there.  Just go slow start of with one or two and build up slowly.  And be aware on vat as i'm not sure your cost on that.

Very similar to the original question but where to look for a trusted source for Scrypt miners?
And now I am in the market of new, ASIC miners. I haven't looked into this market for more than 6 months. How to catch up with reliable sources of miners shipping to Europe?

That is great, @OgNasty; the question is: how do I convince the seller to use escrow; if I am just a single ManicMiner?

Your best option is to send them a personal message. Most resellers that have established themselves e.g. canaryinthemine and Crazyguy won't offer escrow because they are already running on thin margins and the hassle is increased. It is almost always possible to find another buyer who is willing to make a direct payment and most resellers will go with that option.

In my view if you require escrow look for someone in the hardware selling section who is trying to sell their on hand devices and ask them if they will accept escrow if they do escrow with tomatocage, ognasty or bitpop.
