Bounties are more like gambling today, a bad project will pay bounty hunters and good projects that get listed on a big exchange will decide to cheat bounty hunters, if you don't want to waste your time it's safer to promote bounties that are Escrowed and ready to pay in USDT or other big coins like BTC.
Lol Bounty is not like gambling. bounty is a form of employment where hunters receive some reward in return for their work. Gambling is where investments are made and where there is a chance of high profits and losses in a short period of time. So how do you compare bounty with gambling ?

The best bountys in my opinion are the ones that pay in bitcoin, ethereum or stable coins. With all others, the risk is very high that you get bounty coins that have no value. This has happened to me very often. That's why my interest in such bountys is very low. There are certainly bountys with tokens that have a little value afterwards and you earn money with them, but unfortunately you only know that after the bounty. That's why you should look for good projects that either pay in a good currencys or where the project has real potential.  Wink

If bounty participants get paid with the coins or tokens they develop, there is a high or zero price possibility. But if they pay with stablecoins, the value is definite but low. It's hard to know which project will go well and the price can increase once we hold it for a long time. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I think do your job, and follow most of the projects, and one of them will succeed and make you rich.
Nowadays better receiving payment using stable coins like BUSD or USDT than received payment with altcoin, have gambling way when receiving payment with altcoin because possibility get lower price or get higher price depending with potential project or not. But almost right now all bounty when receiving payment with altcoin price drop drastically and reward drop under 100% like Nody and Trophy bounty campaign. Maybe based on opinion better with stable coins than receiving payment reward from bounty campaign with altcoin although have potential one day later price will up drastically, but less of bounty project will running for long time because after success listing on market looks not any new development again.

Nowadays it is very hard to differentiate between a good bounty and a bad bounty, Sometimes the bad ones pays hunters their dues while the good ones refuse to pay. It is hardly to know which one is good considering the situation we are in ,market has not been bearish for long so it is hardly to find a bounty that pays that much.

Right, right now it's hard to tell the difference between good and bad bounties, I have participated in a signature campaign for more than 3 months and made 10 posts per week but didn't get paid, many bounty managers chose to leave because they saw the bad bounty conditions, as participants we certainly don't relying too much on bounties, only an hour's interlude when online.

Better yet, you should only participate in bounty campaigns managed by a reputation manager, or bounty campaigns with escrow. Reputation managers research and evaluate projects before they decide to manage them, so if you participate in these campaigns, you will reduce a part of the risk such as: not getting paid after the end of the campaign, as the project's success or not depends on the project, and the manager cannot decide.

Of course, we can't expect much more at this stage because the market is in a bear phase and newly launched projects are not really effective. And I think the search for quality bounty programs has also decreased a lot, but there are still some projects that offer a certain amount of credibility. In my opinion, some signature campaigns are usually more secure. Check out the quality managers in this space and look for more programs with ESCROWED

I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work. Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?
if from personal experience I choose a good bounty by finding out and choosing a good network on the bounty project such as the BTC, ETH or BNB network.

I also choose a bounty that is done or run by a trusted manager and already has a good name or has not gotten a bad score in running a bounty project.

its depend on our own decision in which part we will join. Bounty with token payment will make us rich but it will not make us poor , maybe we only spend useless time and energy when it become failed. Meanwhile in stable coins , it give us certain certainity on how much money we will accept for this work. No possibility we will get huge reward someday.

As we have seen in the bounty section, very rare that you can see a project that really did get their value in the market.
This is why, most of the time, the bounty hunters are just wasting their time and resources.
But if you are willing to take a risk when it comes to bounty program, better dig the background of the project itself.
Assess if the project has the possibility to take off and they have funds to push thru the project.
Most bounty projects are failed because they have no sufficient funds to move forward.

It is definitely true that you can be unlucky and pick a bounty that is not paying you in the end, which means you potentially posted and tweeted for weeks or even months and in the end you get absolutely nothing for it which is extremely annoying. I think you can never be 100% sure that you have picked a good bounty that is reliable but there are definitely some indicators that you can check if the project that is paying for that bounty is legit or not. Check their website, take a look at the team, at the roadmap of the project and read through the whitepaper. If it is just another copy & paste meme-coin with zero usecase then it is probably not worth doing bounty for them because even if you get tokens they won't be worth anything.

As like I said in similar title like this it's just really hard nowadays to see what is actually paying you decent amount of money, it's either:
- They pay you, but the reward worth nothing when in exchanges.
- Or they just scam you for the free promotion you have done during bounty campaigns.
Things like good teams, good roadmap, good exchanges to even start with, strong community, track record if they have any and escrow also many stuff to consider before joining one.

we used to know there were bounty managers Jamal, irfan Pak, Yahoo and sylon, they are good bounty managers,
even they have a high reward rate, but now the bounty only gives a small part, it's really hard to find a good bounty,
but nowadays maybe Bounty Detective can be an option to choose
Only a few of them are active. A lot of new faces over the bounty section nowadays. To know which bounty is good and which is bad, don't look at how much they can reward but how they conduct the bounty. A bounty with a lot of requirements, strict rules, and like you mentioned above, reputable managers will almost guarantee a good reward.

Success of bounty campaign depending with how success of pre sale or IEO selling, current bounty campaign almost success on pre sale by reaching target not only soft cap but also hard cap, that easy how to make distribution on time and most important when coins listing always above on pre sale price. But right now have drastically different situation because many of project not running well, they loss from pre sale or IEO selling target. Without any contributing from investor all project don't have enough money for paying bounty hunter and make some of current bounties campaign right now become scam, I think this contrast drastically different with bounty campaign right now than current bounty campaugn.
To be honest, today's bounty participants mostly rely on instant accounts where their followers are not really people who interested in crypto. This is based on my observations during running the campaign. Why still accept account participants? So, mostly BM considers accepting participants with accounts that use tools like #FollowBack on twitter, is to increase activity on the platform it self. The more frequent the activity generated, the more potential to be on the platform's search engine or when using hashtags, the post helps lead to people who are crypto investors. But for now, participants mostly focus for their profits than help project getting success on sale. I also remember one of my campaign participants tell me if he is don't care with sale results, this is really hurt for me or even for other BM if most of the participants also thinking doesn't care with the project during ICO/IEO, etc results.

In fact, the main target of the bounty is actually to find users to help the project to find people who are crypto traders or investors, but hard to find this kind of users. luckily there is a search and post suggestion feature on the platform that can help projects that are promoted to get a lead/prospects through retweets or creating original posts about the project.

back on topic, the selection of a good bounty that should be prioritized is personal research of the project that run the campaign. This will help minimize your mistakes while working as a bounty participant. Indeed, BM is the person who is responsible for conducting research first, but BM is also a human, there must be a mistakes made that are not in line with predictions, including projects that end up to being scams.

IMO, I think it depends on your definition of a good bounty, because if you after the big budget campaigns from good and promising projects Im sure it will not happen again because things have changed a lot in bounties unlike before, during the ICO craze in 2017, that many promising projects that have reached their hard cap target and truthfully distributed the said budget like I million dollars worth of tokens. But if your definition of a good bounty is just simple that you only want to get paid, then there's some bounty that was paid in stablecoins with escrowed and it was offered by some bounty management just check the bounty section and find it if you are lucky enough to claim a spot because most of the time it was very quick to get filled with participants.

It's very sad the current bounty, I always hope the bounty can return to glory like 2017. In this year and the previous year not only participants, but some bounty managers have not issued new bounties anymore, some think more projects don't pay so they only generate jobs which is in vain.
it's been a long time, you have to move on from it. although at this time there are not so many bounties that are worth, but you can still find some bounties that are quite worthy to support. do research based on what has been given previously, such as teams, social activities, clear projects, and others. if you want a clear bounty, then look for a bounty that uses escrow, it's pretty sure to pay, especially if the bounty has a market. even if you feel that it's not as good as it used to be, it's still quite worth it.

cannot be ascertained. even successful projects running from public sale to launch of their app may not pay the bounty for various reasons. Here we do not get any protection when working as a bounty, that is one of the disadvantages of working as a bounty, we must be prepared if we are not paid for what we do.

The same way you know a good project by doing your research, There are too many crap bounties on the forum right now and the only one that looks interesting to me is the one I am currently wearing its signature, here are a few tips for you

1. Choose your bounty manager wisely.
2. Escrow payment is more reliable.
3. Use case is what gives tokens value, so promote projects with good use case only, some bad projects are Escrowed, and even if you get paid the tokens will be worthless.
Some bounty managers asked their clients who wanted to promote their project that the funds held in escrow just to secure the payment if there is something that happens later. But that was not enough, rewards, and payments are just useless if you can't sell them, I have some of them in my wallet and just only stuck there for many years, I was hopeless.

To see assurance from these bounties - none. I would we don't have any of this - new projects mostly fail, and we are too lucky if we got one unexpectedly.

Personally, I can say that I already have a very long experience of receiving awards. And in order to find out where there will be a good reward. It is necessary to participate in all promising projects. And only then it will be possible to find out where and what the award was. And from all this I can say that you need to take and participate in projects and at the same time receive excellent income and experience. Many write that this is a waste of time. I can say that any job, even without earnings, but you get a lot of experience in writing posts and much more.
