I have invested in bitcoin, and i would like to learn about trading bitcoin to hopefully maximize both my current and future investments.

Since i am completely new to the world of crypto i would appreciate it if more knowledgable people have any good resources or tips to share. Both for (hopefully) profiting from trading, and for practical tips on how to reduce fees, maximize security in a practical manner and anything else that is necessary and/or helpful in my quest to accumulate bitcoin.

Welcome to the future!!!

I don't know if "successful" traders here are going to be comfortable spilling their "secret" if you know what I mean. There are tons of youtube's about crypto trading, but I would advise you to pick up some basics and then jump on it.

You might have a hard time in the beginning and may suffer losses, every did in the beginning of their career. But don't be dishearten, crypto trading is like a journey, and if you fall down, just get up and continue.

I advise you to get your hands dirty because that's the only way you can really learn, not from watching videos or reading online, you really need to experience and learn from mistakes so that you will be successful in your crypto trading journey, best of luck to you.

It's better to invest first in the next few months while learning and how to trade properly and make a profit. If you want to maximize your investment by trading, I think you should learn first, and YouTube to learn more easily because there are many its benefits.

Rather than trading your bitcoin, it's more valuable if you only invested in bitcoin. You don't need to always looking on the chart, waiting it goes down or up. But you need to know about risk in bitcoin too since it's very volatile (you can lose a lot and win a lot through your investment).

Okay I try to help a little that I know about how to trade the right one for newbie, the first one I recommend, don't use capital that
we can afford to lose. Secondly, don't take trading signals, because what they share is not necessarily accurate. Don't be too fanatical
about one of the coins, because the pump and dump in cryptocurrency will alternate in various ways coins. If you have profits sell it quickly,
don't delay to get a bigger profit. And the last always do technical and fundamental analysis by yourself to better understand the market.

Internet is so wide and so the knowledge. There is a lot of information to tell and we cannot just give you the best you are looking for. Do your own research or watch some youtube videos about tips, techniques, and some advice on how to trade or some sort of stuff related to that. You won't be getting nowhere of course, just follow what those people say.

You can search on Google to find the lesson about trading. Watching a video on youtube can give you more technical analysis or how to analyze the market. Some tips for searching for, you can use the keyword "how to learn crypto trading," "learning crypto trading," etc.

I suggest you try a visit in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5199218.0;topicseen, in that thread, members share the trading simulator which you can use to practice. You don't have to use real money because they give you some balance to start trading.

I can't give you a specific pit-stop on where to learn tradings stuff but believe me, it's easy to find helpful resources on the web.

Hit your favorite search engine with a keyword "bitcoin trading tips, bitcoin trading advice" or something along those lines. Just be careful with clicking random links. All you just need to do is to read.

That will take time so just focus on it and have patience studying it. No need to learn advance trading stuff. Basic knowledge is enough to start.

If you're completely new to crypto as a whole, I highly suggest you read some of the basics about crypto in the Beginners & Help section; there's plenty of comprehensive reading material on that part of this forum, and some basic information about this forum as well. One of your questions about increasing wallet security's answered in one of the pinned threads in that section (click for direct link to thead), and if you've got any questions outside of trading including technical problems about bitcoin and more, that's the place to go to ask. The Bitcoin wiki (click for direct link) also has a lot of good reading for beginners if you navigate towards the Topic central category.

As for tips and resources for trading, there's plenty of information and discussion about that in this part of the forum, though there's not as much general information around here and a lot of the discussion is about just one or two topics. One of the first things you should be doing is finding a reputable exchange to trade on (some of them being Binance, Coinbase Pro, Bitstamp and others as well), learn how to properly navigate the site you choose to trade on, and then find and read or watch basic material on trading if you're also new to that. A lot of the general information about topics, such as and especially like TA, applies to crypto trading, though it's very true that some things don't and crypto markets move more erratically and wildly than traditional markets.

edit: fixed a broken hyperlink in my post.

There is a lot of information to learn since you are beginning, and i can't share all the links here. I was just like you before i started out trading.
The best resource i would recommend is Youtube.

Search for tutorials about crypto trading for beginners and then check them out. From those Videos or tutorial, you will get to learn the basic tools you may need to use for trading, best exchanges to use, the basic rules in crypto trading, risk management, Technical Analysis etc

As time goes on, you can also start practicing with small amounts of cash to have a fee of real time trading.
