To manage losses you need to stay calm, and what I meant by that is first putting aside your emotions because it won't help you in any ways, then setting up a good strategy especially in trading. Put in the amount you can afford to lose, or invest in with the amount you either know could be a profit or lose and won't hurt you even if it's a lose.

how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of.your token.is hitting down ..? in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
thanks in.advance..

Based on past experience, I realized that I should not regret anything. The losses were really very large. If I see that the price is falling and there are no prospects for an increase the price, I get rid of the asset. In addition, I reduced the number of coins in my portfolio and began to pay more attention to top projects. I think that they will continue to make a profit.

Stop for a while, and preferably vacation to make the mind calmer, and do not force it to always see the market in stressful conditions. Hodl, don't panic and sell low, because it's very possible for the market to grow back.

Just ignoring it. It is hard, if you are looking at coinmarketcap every day and see that your portfolio is bleeding and loosing a lot of money. Be calm and patient. The only thing you can do is to wait for the better market, that is going to come soon.

In order not to lose your nerves due to market fluctuations, you need to clearly define how long your investments are calculated, and when you expect to make a profit. If after a year, then throughout the year you are just waiting.

Maybe you have to get used to this.
I have encountered this many times in my life. I was really helpless before it. I have lost 50% of my capital. I cut an altcoin for $0.7/coin. Guess, just two weeks later it was worth $2.8/coin...
I realized that this job requires a lot of patience. Cry

I am not managing my losses actually . My idea is buying more and more if coin continue dumping i need to buy more. Surely for that i need some fiat. But i have it. So i dont like stop loss or somethiing like that idont like loosing money. So i keep buying and holding during red candles.

to ensure that the losses are not greatly shocked, you need to first freeze up free money. then the loss is not so traumatic will affect your health.
yes, totally agree with this. we really should have the trick to overcome this kind of thing. even I personally, besides using theoretical methods, I also sometimes meditate for self-revitalization

I am managing losses with stop losses. But with powerful squeezes it won't work and your order can be closed for unfavourable price.
Can you imagine it? It is disgusting!

You can try to average, buy more tokens at the current price. buy cheaper and sell more expensive, engage in daily trading, it will help you to return some of the money spent.

this is my suggestion to avoid losing big ones:
first, don't just invest in one coin. because it is likely that when the coin goes down, other coins don't necessarily go down. for example when investing in eth and suddenly eth drops, while in the market there is still cardano or ripple which actually shows an increase. so don't just focus on one coin.
the second, don't invest too much, because the crypto industry is very volatile and can go down quickly, so don't invest too much. just a little but make a profit.

It is really hard to recover specially when you lose a big amount. For me the best thing you can do is to learn from that experience and be careful next time. Just like everyone said, only invest what you can afford to lose. Don't go overboard and invest everything you got. Also never stop reading and study new informations.

Actually first of all you need to depend on other sources of income and net worth, otherwise you will be under heavy stress and you will not cope well with it.

The golden rule is and has always been, "only invest what you can afford to lose." That way, whatever happens you don't need to get stressed. Life is short and we really shouldn't worry about little things like shitcoins. Better to be safe and just invest in blue chips like bitcoin or ethereum.
Yes that's right. If you don't want to lose then use your brain and be wise to make your own strategy. And if you lose then  make your plan B. Just learn from your mistakes.

Yes, Every time you must manage the risk. If you are going to invest in Ico, Don't select one. You can select a couple of projects and invest in that same amount of your total capital. After that, there will be a more probability to get some profits for you.

Having lost is something that can't be evicted in trading but you just need to manage it to a minimum rage, you can just hold on to the coin till when it time for it moon or sell it if you see potential of it still going down, and rebuy to have more coin and that will be a great profit for you in future , and you should be able to control your emotion .

Well losing cash can be very sad in crypto, but there are sometimes you loose or you gain huge profit, in order to appreciate the good days, then you must experience the bad days, I have experience in gambling though am not into that anymore but that has giving me leverage of handling stress when it comes loosing cash.
Yes, trading sometimes resembles a gamble. But I think that should be avoided. This should be taken as a kind of work. And you are right that negative emotions from trading are part of our work. We can not constantly make a profit. That is life.
