Is there any difference between men and women when it comes to bitcoining? I think not, it does not depend on the gender. Its just their choice.
I actually know more woman who use bitcoins than men.

It is easy to motivate women to use bitcoin. it is by encouraging them that they can buy anything. they can go shopping by BTC and in fact, when they have a BTC, it is possible to have a high price of bitcoin in no time. in that, they will motivated to earn btc and use btc because more of them want to have shopping and i think, btc is the best they can have.

Women have their own set of minds of what they really want. You can motivate them yes but you cant force them. Some might like this idea of doing a job through bitcoin payment but some might not because they also want to work in an office or outside their home.

I think women are motivated the same way as other people gets motivated. Despite of all the tantrums, of all the irrationality behaviour that they have, women are still humans. And humans share a common nature. If women really want to know about bitcoin, if you explain it to them, they would listen. Same thing goes for men, if they aren't interested, then they wouldn't listen. I bet there are women bitcoiners in here but they just don't want to reveal themselves.

The goods that women like is fashion, jewellery and beauty tools, we just give them some Bitcoins and tell them,  they can buy jewellery and stuff with bitcoins and also tell them how to do transactions. I sure 100% will be success

Hmmm, lots of sexist and stupid comments here.

I am a woman and I am holding btc and various altcoins as well.

I don't use my coins to go "shopping" or get my "nails done".

Sorry if I don't fit into your status quo.

Wow! Spent some time going through this thread. My opinion is that It actually does not matter what gender someone is in this space.

Now to the subject of the OP, How to motivate women to use Bitcoin?
We had discussed this topic over chai few months ago. What would motivate women on the same level men are motivated in crypto so that more women get involved?

We though of ways women(and men) shop online, use social media and relate with each other through self expression etc etc...., through the course of several discussion we though of a platform, a platform that rewards users in crypto currency to post fashion, style and nightlife photos, these rewards can in turn be used to buy attire from ecommerce stores which accept crypto currency, and these stores can advertise back to the users on the platform where they pay for advertisements in crypto currency aswell.

We got serious about this idea, decided to get an awesome name for the project and long story short, Trending.me was born

To get a complete overview, read our concept paper here : http://www.trending.me/concept.pdf

Assuming women aren't already using bitcoin or crypto in general is kinda stupid.  Considering the internet in general is pretty harsh with women and this a pool of anon sn's, you really thing they are going to advertise their gender?  It's like anything else that's masculine, yes there's more men but there's always a few women thrown in as well.  Women like money too, I'm certain that just like they've moved into wall street they will move in here as well.

The same way you motivate men. I am a woman and I didn't need any motivation, I just needed simply an explanation of what Bitcoin really is. My brother introduced me to it, I had seen his results, and understood that bitcoin can support you financially in the real world. Now I'm here.

how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..

Tell them if she wants to buy everything she need through her phone and internet only. She can get it via bitcoin only. Especially girls who loves to post in facebook. There is a lot of possibilities she can enjoy bitcoining too knowing her post will earn soon.

To motivate women, one thing we can do: "Just tell them with less work we can earn more"  Wink women love money. The only thing can change their mind is money, jewelry, vehicles etc..  Tongue

Why do you need to motivate women to use bitcoin?!
Will you gain something from motivating them?! Why don't let them decide if they want to use it or not? Bitcoin is only for open minded people who doesn't need some motivations and can do some research on their own!

I think it should be best to discuss how to motivate people in general to use Bitcoin.  It was easy to explain some of the concepts of bitcoin to my wife and she already told me right away she supports my research into cryptocurrency.  Maybe she is saying this to ensure I don't give the long explanation, but showing her the values and simplifying the information about Bitcoin being a decentralized system was an easy foot into the door.  If I show her how it can be used to purchase products, she might try it out on her own spare time.  At least right now she knows a little bit from our discussion.
