To be honest, there are a lot of great hackers nowadays that they are really unpredictable that you can't really when will they attack and steal all of your cryptocurrencies or bitcoin. So the best way to protect your funds from hackers is not to visit any suspicious websites and do not share any of your information and passwords to people through online.

I am using softwallet for several years and I haven't encountered any hacks yet, anyone should be a keeper especially in this kind of space. You can't protect Bitcoin in general but you can protect your coins. First, don't keep all coins you have in just one wallet and avoid online wallets.
I agree with you. We have no way to keep all Bitcoin in the world but we surely can save our Bitcoin by keeping them in a proper way. These people are more experienced than us. You don't need to keep all your funds on one exchange as a rule of the thumb. Not your key, not your money also have a role to play here, have several non-custodian wallets and keep your tokens there. Don't just rely on one in case of a successful hack. so that you don't lose your entire capital. Always use an antivirus that can detect trojan behaviors and warn about this action. Don't download App from Google PlayStore or iOS without verifying if it corresponds with the official release. I feel like if you dwell on it too much, it tends to happen. Don't be too paranoid about having your Bitcoin getting stolen. Just practice the required measures of not clicking on unknown links or downloading any unknown software on your PC and using the right hardware.

Today, we are all vulnerable to hacking. There are even apps, wallets and software that may seem safe outside but is really unsafe to store Bitcoin. We are too confident to rely on online wallets that are makes us vulnerable to hackers. Not even a bank can give you 100% security for your asset. Cause bank robbery or bankruptcy is not a unknown thing to us. If you try to use hardware wallet cheaters crack your wallet somehow (like trojan), if you use paper wallet there is a chance to lost it, if you try to use desktop/app wallet they can hack your wallet through email or any other virus.

Just keep it simple! download a cold storage wallet and keep a backup of that wallet so you can get access to your wallet without any issue later on. Always keep the back-up phrases safe somewhere and not in the reach of anyone except you.
Never reveal your private key and never hold your crypto on a an exchange wallet. Always transact indore and never reveal that you earn from cryptocurrency.
