It is not very easy so it is in fact human nature that makes you vulnerable to excitement and emotions and you play again to win again once you win some money. It is a neural response to the feelings that you derive from a win and afterwards, the situation you might deal in the game might be different and you might lose. So it is always a good idea to have a limited stake and limited drive to gamble.

All things should really be on moderation and let yourself be aware on what you are doing.Emotions does really give a big effect

on someones mind which would motivate or trigger out something which leads into actions which is playing gambling once again.

if you don't have the self discipline to set aside a portion of your winnings then its better to ask someone to go with you when you gamble. This way you can avoid going home empty handed because someone is with you to constantly remind you that you need to stop. If you play online, there are sites out there who will remind you of your plans.

Such things mostly happened to every gamblers who can't resist the temptation and enticement inside the gambling house, that's how important controlling your emotions and keep sticking with your plans, strategy will only works if you can overshadowed your self, knowing when to stop keeping yourself to a much better position.

The thing I always do to protect myself from excitement is to be excited. What I mean is, you have to make sure that excitement won't affect your strategy and decision making. Excitement isn't so much bad. But you have to make sure to think before you move and think after you get excited. "Emotions" has a lot of effect on a decision. But I can tell that the people who get excited while gambling is a newbie(s).

Even if the profits are still so high you should always keep in mind or even think about investing only what you can really lose. Maybe Invest only 25% from every win should be working. Protecting yourself starts with that when you start playing and you have already locked your bank account and credit card so it couldnt be taken out of there to play! Indeed, some gamblers cant refrain themselves to keep playing especially if you feel you're lucky for that particular day.

It will only work if you have self control and aware of your limitation.

I dont gamble often and I think its the best way to prevent myself for being greedy, win or lose I stop once my spare time is already over.

Yes, I think I agree with you that we should always watch out for good entry first in any investment we want to do. I understand that procrastination is a thief of time like the OP said, but that doesn’t mean we should always buy any value we see is good without making proper analysis of the coin market first.

This market is one you cannot predict and the moment you miss out of the bottom, entry point becomes very difficult and more strategy is required in knowing the best time to buy, which is why I would not still blame those who didn’t invest in binance when it was $20, the market looked overbought then.
