Each and every people are different on their own way and addiction affect everyone in different way. Next, all you do is keep your winnings on a friends wallet to protect it? Yes, I thought so too. Stopping gambling will completely steal our way in losing more money. That's a great idea. But most of the time, addiction is not the type of thing you can stop for once. It could be stop in many ways but not straightly, it will harm more the victim. It should be stop not in the fastest way, slowly. And also with proper guidance.

Its best to say, that you should stop gambling and call it a day. Theres plenty of tomorrow to play again and dont be way too greedy over money, this always happen to people who lost so much money and cant think properly.

Money is the motivation that keeps you playing but you need something stronger in order to tackle it. Every gambler should work on self controlling themselves but having a lot of activities that distract them from gambling. Being away from gambling thoughts can solve the problem.

Maybe we can say like this, we use $20 to gamble and no matter how long we can play, we only use that amount. And when we lose that money in just 30 minutes or less, we should leave the places and never use other money to continue playing.

I think that is the solution for people who want to play gambling, but they are afraid to spend all of the money for a long time. That is limiting our money, and we know the time to quit gambling. That will only work if we have good control for ourselves.

Having a good mindset not to allow yourself with temptations to continue playing while you still have your winnings, if you can manage to quit

I think stopping on gambling is not an easy way specially if you will stop it forcibly because there is a big possibility that you will be tempted to gamble again. If you are planning to stop gambling, do it by simply decreasing the amount of money you will gamble until you do not notice that there will be the time that you can already resist gambling.

I think self-control is much more appropriate for that, because happiness or excited certainly involves your emotional feelings, and it's controlled by yourself

Yeah! There is nothing wrong if you let your friends or relatives share in making your own decisions when you are just a beginner. I also see nothing wrong if you are the one who seek for help. A possible solution might be for some developer to create a wallet with a time lock. You can gamble and then withdraw some profit to that wallet that you cannot access, until the time lock expires. This way you do not have to trust friends and family and you do not have to embarrass yourself by asking them to keep the coins for you.

A lot of people are using Smart contracts and other code to implement specific requirements to unlock coins, so you might have to investigate that option, if you cannot control your gambling problem. Sad
