When you experienced a loss that you can't bare, I think you will know how you are going to quit. You can stop by not playing anymore. With a big loss, I think it's enough to make you stop. Don't ever think that you could regain what you lost if you gamble more. Wait for at least a day or two for rest then go for it.

And what exactly does that waiting for a day or two would do? That doesn't help at all. That would just prolong the process of you losing some more money. Even with a big loss, someone who's addicted to gambling would still gamble. Actually, that big loss was just added to his goals. If his goal back then was to get 3BTC (for example), then with the big loss, his goal now would be to regain that big loss and then get 3BTC. It might be a sad truth but that's just how it goes.

How does one Put down Gambling for good?
try to make yourself busy with other things that would keep you distracted,
So that you could stay away from gambling or stay with your family and friends.

Earnest intention to quit is the most important thing when we wanted to leave gambling. Doing other stuffs and keep busy on it will help us to gain our intention.

although quitting gambling is depending on your own self determination but still your family and your friends can help you in quiting gambling. and still if you find it hard to quit gambling then you should change your gambling strategy you should reduce your gambling time and bits.
Yeah, family and friends can also help with your problems. Especially your family, because family is always there for us no matter what. But at first it is really hard for us to stop gambling immediately, but slowly you I am sure you can stop with the help of family. And also it is depend on you. Because it is also depend on how addicted we are in gambling.

If gambling is a problem for anyone then it would be time for them to look at taking a break and like with most things there are 2 ways to do it, straight out cold turkey or taper down.

Maybe just stick with buying a lottery ticket each week if you still have the urge to gamble
.
That would be a good idea, it's not expensive and you can still gamble. However, the chances are very low and it's only 1 in a millions of people who were given the opportunity to win and be a millionaire. Quitting needs time to do it, a gambler depends on the seriousness of addiction cannot just say quit and do it, it's a process and it's slow, but possible with with sincerity.
It's not exciting as what we are currently doing but it's more safe, you will not lose big because you only bet like once a day or a little span of time. Lottery does not really give us a great winning percentage so I don't think it will make most gamblers interested on it. We want real action like we want to know the outcome as fast as possible, playing dice would be suitable for that kind of needs but needs to be controlled as well.

Right there is really a need to control over gambling. The chances of winning in every game is only minimal . If we really want to quit for good we better get away on it. Make ourselves busy at work or in our family. Find new hobby as much as possible.

Gambling is a big problem just like the addiction to cigarettes and alcohol. quitting these behaviours requires a lot of commitment from the victim and goes through several processes before one can actually be free from the addictions.

Actually it is not the real problem that we need to face but the people who are abusing on how it goes.

Gambling is made for entertainment and for the house to profit but there are people who are looking at its perspective on a different way.

And that's why the problem is existing, when they are digging too much with gambling and treats it as a source of living.

That's why we should not really get into it too much. You don't have to quit for good if that is not harming you even if you play.

I think many of us do gambling for quick profit and since it depends on most of the time player lose all capital. So I would like to suggest gambler to use that bitcoin in trading and earn good amount of btc easily. If gambler can make profit from trading then they will leave gambling happily.
You suggestion is widely suggested by many smart people here, let us not forbid people from gambling but more so, let us educate them on the risk in gambling. One can make money with gambling but not most of us can do it, we should find our comfort in terms of making money and if we are not good in gambling, enjoying it can still be achieve, just treat it for fun.

It is really hard to quit gambling for good though you can avoid being addicted to it. In a simple way of saying it, you must really control yourself. Most of us i know they are only saying that they quit gambling but maybe they are itching play again, it is hard to avoid gambling, you must really control it, not avoid it.

It's hard, we all know that, but as the saying says "if there's a will, there's a way" and I believe in that, I was a gambler before but I quit because I wanted too and probably the time just made the way for me to get out of it. Self control would just make you cling more to gambling since you already find a way to comfort your self when you are losing.

As much as possible you must avoid it if you are not yet and addict and if you are already a gambler, you should start to slowly get out by limiting your self.

You are exactly right, if there's a will, there's a way. It's all depends on gambler's mindset. If you fix this in your mind and you stick with your decision and follow all methods you will easily stop the gambling. If you can show more dedication, you can control yourself in gambling. Or else no one will help you out in this problem. Self-dedication is more important to quit gambling.

It all depends on your intentions and seriousness. Remember, gambling will not make you rich but it can make your money runs everything. If you like gambling, made as a means of entertainment, not gambling with large nominal.

If your intention is to quit, never look back to gambling, not even cheating your self by having an exception since soon it will just open up your way back again to gambling... When we say we want to quit, we do it... It hurts and not feeling comfortable when we start quitting since we will be adjusting to our new life, but it's worth it, after a week or more, probably you will find a new hobby already... Keeping your self busy is the key in quitting gambling...  Smiley

Gambling too got some goodness, so rather than quitting it's better to have certain fixed limits and do gambling. When we have fixed spending on gambling we won't get addicted. This gets you the chances of winning at least small amounts.
For me, to have a chance to win in gambling is to bet small amount in every game, so that you can lessen your losses and you can also play several times in gambling.

But if you are doing that in a daily basis and that is not resulting into a good one for you. You should just stop with it already so that you can make yourself stay safe from worst case scenarios. Remember that all things comes from small, even on how we are consistent on betting with small amount. Chances are big that there will be a time that you will still bet big.

When you make bets or gamble with small amounts regularly if won often then it won't affect the person in terms of earning as well loss. When loss is experienced bigger than win soon the user tends to increase the betting value to gain the entire loss. When this too fails addiction is the result.

Two possible results can happen if a gambler tends to loss on a daily basis. That can probably his reason to quit gambling for real. Because it is not doing good for him, so he doesn't have choice but to quit it for real so that he can have time to think again on how he is going to spend his money on a more valuable way.
I am a gambler and a loser myself, but I have not experience losing on a daily basis. If that happens to anyone then he should quit, he is not having fun anymore, he is just making gambling a charity institution. Though we do it for fun but we cannot deny we also seek to win as that would give us some motivation and excitement that this game is fair enough to bring us entertainment and financial reward sometimes.
Being a loser in gambling field is really normal since its the reality on playing that game,as you said if you saw that you are not too lucky or shall we say you lose everyday then its not right anymore and you should realized it earlier to avoid more problems ahead. You must made actions would completely stop that situation.

I don't know how you define the word "normal" but I don't think losing 20 times in a row is normal. If you flip a coin, there's legit 50% chance for you to win. But it seems that this provably fair gambling sites can never achieve a winning stream as much as a losing streak. You can lose 20 times in a row but I've never seen someone winning 20 times in a row. I'm obviously talking about 2.00x multiplier here so don't even bother replying "Ohh, just put it to 1.01x" or something.
