Discipline and calmness is gone once we start gambling and get addicted to it. I don't know if you ever got addicted but I know some addicted gamblers personally and hey they don't know anything other than gambling.
You can think like a drunken person is equal to an addicted gambler because none of them talks with any sense or any logic.

I know addicted persons in gambling personally also, but I am not saying earlier that we need to have self-discipline for those who are already addicted, I said "If we have self-discipline and self-control, I think we can manage to play gambling, win or lose" that is not already addicted in gambling, those who are really addicted in gambling, they really need to be have an expert psychiatrist so that they can guide them of what they are going through.

indeed. if you're already at that point where a lot of things has been compromised already and you're too broke and in debt, most likely you would depend now on gambling again to try to redeem yourself which is most of the time the reason why people ruin their lives. being able to manage your time, money and emotions when gambling would be a good gauge if you can still continue. if you cannot control yourself over these things then gambling is not for you. also having a strong ties with your family, friends and having a good social life would be a big help if you're in the process of trying to quit

Why wont bother to gamble if you already know that you are not good at it from the start? If we don't like to suffer uncertain things then you should quit as early as possible to prevent it from happening into you. Being hooked by gambling addiction is really hard because many things will got compromised not only on financial things but also to the relations to those persons around you.If you don't like that then Stop completely and no turning back.

Exactly, not everyone can understand that gambling is not for everyone "if" you are aiming for money. We have seen in the statistics that gambling sites are profitable and that means people are losing money. We need to choose our battle, if we cannot beat them then join them by investing your money in gambling sites.

agree with you. Quitting gambling is just a temporary methods to avoid losing money. However, provided that you still do not know how to control yourself, you will soon be addicted to gambling again

But that is a good point in him to just quit gambling so he could avoid in losing his money and that is not a bad idea, because in gambling you can not be sure if you can profit or not because of it's randomness it is very risky indeed, that is why there are many gamblers that are quitting it before it is too late and get addicted towards it, so it is a good call in stopping it if it only could worsen you income more!

I think no one will think of quitting if he can still control himself, honestly it's the most desperate decision a gambler would do as you need to sacrifice your happiness in gambling by doing that but you do not have a choice as you are gambling you will lose your money.

There are people who are not able to manage this because of their addiction and they just can't help themselves but to keep on gambling.

But maybe by teaching them a lesson by losing as they gamble and losing all the amount in their bankroll will make them quit for good.

Because they will regret it that they gamble and that is going to be able to stop them for good or else they want to recover it again.

At least your figure it out early, unlike our fellow gambler here who has more guts to gamble without a plan to quit thought they are not doing well in gambling. As long as a gambler has bitcoin or money on his pocket he will keep on gambling. Repentance is always in the end, that's why we can't just simply quit gambling for good in the first place. So when we experience losing on a streak, that's the stage of thinking if you wanted to quit or wanted to keep on gambling to recover the lost amount.
