And here i am thinking that Signing a message is just copying it and putting your own address hahahahah thanks for the info and what other ways can i prove ownership of my btc address

Is that a question?  There's no other way to prove that you own an address as good as signing a message.  Some people may accept sending a specific amount of bitcoins to any address as proof but a determined scammer may try to pay the real owner to make a transfer.  Of course they can still try to do the same for signed message but no bitcoiners with half their brain would sign a message saying that their address is controlled by someone else.

What is this? any purpose of this sign message ?
Its like saying u are owner of particular address. But process of signing is quite complicated i know that much.
Someone should make easy solution to fast sign message, really simple solution.
Thank you but how can i do that and where to signed it?

all the informations are in the OP, check it and you will find answers to your questions. basically signing a message is proving you have full control over an address that you signed

Thats an old quote, didnt know the thread has been around that long. Anyway, instead of telling me how helpful this is. Just post a signed message, thats the only way I can see you learned something.

Has anyone experienced this when signing in Electrum wallet, i input the right password and no signature shows?

May be any error in your input better check it once and try. I am not electrum is providing signing message at current version but Blockchain.info is not allowing that in their updated version.

The blockchain is fine. That some service called blockchain.info(!) no longer allows signing messages does not affect other wallets.

No, wana post the message and electrum version? Might be something about the symbols used, maybe I can reproduce with one of my electrum wallets.

Not me.  Try it again with different address and message and wait few seconds, if it happens again report it to the Electrum section.

No.

#1 I dont know when someone would have a private key, but not a wallet that cant be used to sign directly. Most wallets that dont allow you to sign, dont allow you to export private keys either.

#2 It is only secure if the code has no bugs (see Dannys remark in the linked thread) in it and its used offline. Thats a bit out of scope here. A verification page would be interesting, but thats missing.
