Actually, I will have to say that, spotting who are gambler addict does not necessarily requires to base it on their physical outlook. Most of the time, we can notice a gambling addict the way they act. Their attitude. I know some gambling addicts that aren't really haphazard and drunkard. I think we will know that he is an addict gambler when they commit their time in Casinos and use as much money as they can in gambling. Also, when they tend to sell most of their assets just to regain what they have lost in the previous games.

I don't agree entirely because not all gambling addicts are drunkards because there are exceptional cases but if you indeed want t spot the gambler from the onset then you should check his crave to play over and over again without having the need to go home or look out for his family or even friends but just keeps trying as if he has unlimited bankroll.

For me as i experience the same thing and i seen also that kind of thing on my relatives and co-baranggays or nieghbors. So that it is not a new thing to be heard for but since of that i have a tactics that ive used to know on what time did i stop. The tactics that know my limmitations or know every things limmitation and ill stop when ive play more than a 1-2 even 3 hours of playing because it can have a disadvantage when too used.

Yes I saw people like what you said, they borrow money from friends to play gambling and after that to return the money they sold valuable things. This is the last stage of addiction here you can easily find out addicted gamblers. Once anyone reaches this stage, it is very hard to control emotions.

added unto this,those person whos become their native tongue is gambling,those people that caming from the mouth is always gambling,thats the sign of being addicted into gambling...ofcourse added those on the top answer will justify once addict

One of the biggest addicted gamblers I ever saw was this older lady playing slots in the casino once. Every single time before she would roll, she wiped the screen trying to get "good luck".

Sorry, but this is just ridiculous. You can't change the luck of a machine by rubbing it with your hand, or anything else for that matter. IT is programmed by professionals to only payout a certain rate.

I feel bad for her, but nothing we say will change her.

When the gambler is at that level, gambling with borrowed money and selling his valuables, it will be difficult for him to get out. There are many examples of such cases around us if we are able to observe closely. Tbh, many bad examples gained from gambling compared to good one.

This isn't really any sign that you aren't an addicted. But yes at least you have some sort of self control over your self which prevents you from being addicted in your very own sense. I think playing for a very long time is itself a sign that you are addicted. Trading Forex is another type of addiction you can acquire. But yes biggest way to spot an addict is to look if person always try to revive his loses.

I don't quite agree with you on the forex thing. Unlike gambling, where you are unlikely to earn anything and rather lose all in the end, you can be successful at forex trading, and you would spend days trading there without being addicted at all. If you are successful at it, you would be striking profits while the iron is hot, so to speak, which is kind of natural thing for any rational person. Though trading can easily make you into an addict simply because it is gambling for most traders anyway.

It's easy to spot a gambler addict, just go to the casino, there must be someone who always at the casino, it means he/she is really addicted into gambling. You can also meet an addicted gambler on online casino and dice sites, there always people like that 24 hours on casino.

Gamblers are also like the normal people with same feelings and emotions and it would be very difficult for you to spot him as a gambler addict until or unless you don’t make him a friend or keep his company. It’s not the same as in fiction movies that the hero sees some reality written on the face of the devil.

When you will keep the company of a gambler, one thing which will help you to spot him a gambler would be that he will discuss gambling if there would be nothing to talk about.

I completely agree with you my friend. It is in man’s nature that he is thinking about same thing which he’s conducting in his life because he wants to be perfect in that activity for which he tries to carve different ways for his success. For example, if one is business man from his occupation, he will be thinking about inventing new ideas which could prove him very valuable in the end to earn healthy profits.

Mostly in people that i knew who are addicted in gambling doesn't that they are addicted already or maybe they are just indenial just to cover up their addiction. But i knew that they are into ot already because they just keep on going to casinos even if they just borrowed or loan their money just to be satisfied.

Recognizing a gambling addict , or somebody who's affected by compulsive gambling isn't really a hard thing to do . In order to spot someone with such a disorder ( because yes gambling addiction is a brain disorder) is easy , such people will always be in a very critical financial situation thus making them borrow or even risk money that is very necessary for themselves or their families .

One of the most clear indications is such people are spending too much time on gambling which makes them not do right by their families and not provide or spend enough time in important life activities such as work or family . Such people always feel guilty and sometimes resort to other temporary solutions such as drugs or alcohol , which will just solve the problem on the short term , but will generate other problems on the long run .

Such people also gamble to get off their anxiety or depression which is a very wrong measure to take , if you are not feeling well, going to a shrink or a family member to help you is way more healthier than gambling .
Getting help is imperative in such cases and if you are / know someone with such description you should immediately sort out a solution before that you / that persons loose your life and family .
