I agree, those gambler are just think about their self, they don't care about other saying as long as they are happy of their activities were considered as passion of their life. But if somebody convince him which considered as a closed of their heart, perhaps they will change and make their life normal or some friends whose have another activities that could make him divert from gamblin that could still make him entertained.

There are no such people existing on this planet whose face is printed with a letter’addicted’. It is obvious that those people who are giving more importance to such betting games than other things and are giving all of their time to gambling are surely an addict.

Exactly, gamblers never think about their future, they just want to fulfill their needs for which they gamble a lot and if they ran out of money, they go for debts but continue to gamble.

Well there's two kind of addicted gambler, a loser and a successful one. The loser would be the one that is always alone because everybody left him because of his recklessness, his bad attitude and bad temper towards the people that love him. The successful one would be the likes of Dan Bilzerean, seizing every minute of every day and living life to its full extent and not worrying much about money.

People who are addicted to gambling does not necessarily mean that they are the saddest person alive,it is just fun to gamble and everybody does like to have fun and when they loose control on what they are doing and a mixture of greed will change any person to an addict.

Gambling addiction is really not like drug addiction where you will spot the addict behaving strangely and scratching themselves like all those addicts do, The only place to spot a gambling addict is normally at the casino, if someone is at the casino for more than 5+ hours at the casino, then without a doubt the person has a very serious gambling addiction.

An addict no matter it's drug addict, gambling addict or women addict would frequently use it more than what normal people do. That's an easy definition indeed. But in gambling you would feel like get pushed doing it for the sake of show it of to the people that you can make money easily or to proof that you can recover what you have lost.

I think we can spot the addicted gambler very easily, i will list the actions of them:
- Use everymoney to gambling.
- Gambling everyday.
- Hide their gambling with others.
- Borrow money for gambling.

I think we can spot the addicted gambler is the one that use all his money to play even he has a purpose for that money.

There seem to be a whole basket of underlying issues which may lead to gambling addiction. So if you want to stop gambling, you should first pinpoint what these issues are. Most likely your life is just dull and boring, so you search for a sort of distraction. Obviously, gambling, while it certainly makes you feel real, is not a solution. It may be helpful for a moment, but ultimately it will make your life even more miserable.

You should understand that gambling won't help you solve your existential problems or crises, and thus you should search for solutions elsewhere. Gambling is for entertainment purposes only.

The pretty basic (For me) factor to know if a Gambler is already addicted to it is the uncontrollable psychological thirst towards gambling. A person in which he/she can't contain him/herself to stop thinking about his/her game. A person who is addicted to gambling tend to generate a mannerism in which some people will notice but for the person addicted to it doesn't.

The first stage of addiction (based from what I've noticed) is the denial stage, A person that denies that he/she already became addicted to gambling even though a lot of people are already trying to help him/her. For a person who is accused being an addict are pressure and/or the stress of thinking about it so the tendency is that they will return to gambling to ease their mind. The second stage is the emotional imbalance, A person who begins to or already an addict has this emotional imbalance in which an addict can't control its emotions while playing and not. It also attacks the mental capacity of an addicted gambler, meaning due to a sudden change of emotions an addict can't think properly, worst is that some are having illusions if they didn't play for a day or so. Which brings you the last stage of addiction, The Takeover. The total Takeover of gambling into the system of an addict. This is the stage in which an addict is ready to risk everything such as money (savings), Properties, family, relationships, and/or his/her own life just to satisfy is thirst in gambling. These people are now at the point in their life that they don't care, they'll just do everything for the sake of playing. (This are just my theories and base from what I've studied)

There are still a lot of ways to spot an addict.

I think gambler addicts usually try to hide their addiction behind lots of absence or they try to be funny all the time when in the reality they are the saddest people in the room . People who risk their wages , rent and food money just to satisfy the urge of gambling are ill people in my opinion and they should go get help from real psychotherapists in order to avoid ruining their lives !

Yeah! You will know the true addicted of you will spot an addicted gambler if he/she giving almost his/her time in playing gambling and almost dpend all of his/her money in gambling even though he has a lot of depts he dont care anymore the importance for him is to play gambling.

Pain is something that will be obvious and notifiable to you. You can observe them and their behavior will ultimately show you they are running their lives in some pain. Plus like you have said, there are some chances that they have taken debts. They are manipulating and saluting the losses and profits every time. They don’t know in which way they are going in their life.

Especially when you have been in the situation once in your life, you can easily spot an addicted gambler because you know how they act.
It's very unfortunate if we will be in that situation in our life because we will surely gonna live a life that is very problematic, it will affect the good relationship to our family and worst thing could happen is when we will lead to bankruptcy.

A person who got addicted to gambling is pretty easy to spot, you will realize he will be spending most of his time playing in the casino, even though he have lost all of his money away, he will always try every method to borrow money from anyone with all sort of lies and stories to fund his gambling addiction.

That's a big problem if we come to that situation in life, gambling will make us poor because we will keep throwing out money without
getting any benefits, what we have to do is to quit and focus on our family because they are more important than anything in this world.

The best is to go to any casinos and just stand at one of the spots and keep watching people . Those who react on every loss will be the one mostly too much addicted because they play only for money and not to enjoy. Also if you find people borrowing money from their friends after theirs is over are the ones who cannot live without gambling.

People who addicted in gambling are the loner people, broke people and just see happiness when they gamble. The worst scenario is that a gambler leaves his own family for the sake of gambling, I know one persona like this that I will surely never do in my future family. Don't sacrifice your love ones just to support for your greed.

Its pretty easy to spot a person who is addicted to gambling, if a person is addicted to gambling he/she can't go on a day without doing anything that involves gambling. Sometimes when the situation is worst the person will lend money for the sake of gambling, others sell their properties in short you are addicted to gambling when you are about to lose your money or go broke.

Actually i think the people who win alot of profits in gambling when they actually start to gamble become more addicted to gambling than anyone else. Just take a simple example, when a guy gambles for the first time and loses his money there is a little chance that he will use more money to gamble. He will most probably quit gambling. If a guy gets addicted to gambling he'll just keep on gambling even if he loses his money thats what you'll see in a gambling addict.
