I agree.. Investing first in getting knowledge is the best thing to do of a newbie and also investing a small amount of money in testing the field is also a safe move because you will not regret the small amount that you are investing and you can also make experiments that will result for getting experiences that will make you a better trader.

current bitcoin price make everybody have to start with large capital ,
otherwise your trading in bitcoin will not get a good profit ,
altcoin might better option for you who have low capital to start ,
just the matter risk , in altcoin you can lost a lot even lost the whole money because some altcoin gone scam sometimes.

trading altcoins is a risk in every situation because there are pumps and dumps without any relation to a news or an improvement in the project.
even they are strictly related to btc price, so trading could be a double risk!

Comparatively you can make decent income in altcoins as well but bitcoin would be option for most of the people due to its price value and its growth. Initially you can start up with amount which equals to 100$ as a minimum amount in trade. Once you get into it you will know the tactics about trading completely.

yeaaa , making money from trading always depend on how much your capital .
so when you have small amount as capital then don't expect to have a huge profit , just consider it as coumpounding capital before do the real trading later when you have collected huge amount of money enough as capital , do trading on low value altcoin at first time because it is usually has a high volatility and of course have a high percentage in return.

Newbie is hard to get initials deposit but if you are going to buy some bitcoin to start trading try atleast 0.1 like Dagmon says to start and gained some experience on trading platform , 0.1 bitcoin can be easily grown when you are work hard to trade and do the short term of tradings.

Start with just small amount like what they said and 0.1 is a good amount to start with.
Trading is really hard at first but just enjoy it eventually you can learn while playing/studying with it.
Just don't aim to earn as high as you wish so you won't get frustrated if you just earn little or lose some.

Most coins rise in price a lot when they just started.

if bitcoin price incraese high, ussualy altcoin price is down
if you have altcoin from mine, and selling if altcoin down price is not good
