A very good observation though, i do agree with your statement regarding on altcoin trading which is somehow usually depends more on luck than skills since the price is very unpredictable, if you do have the skills but luck isnt there on buying a certain altcoin then you would surely suffer loss. We could really start trading even on small amounts though on alt tradings.

Maybe majority of the altcoins has no potential future value and that is what you do on relying on luck but there are altcoins with good volume that might be successful in the future, you cannot just decide it base on luck because the market does not fluctuate hard, you need to study and do the right research.

"Big enough" is always relative. But regardless of amount, there's ways to get around starting to trade with a small bankroll. Exchanges like OKCoin, Bitmex, 1Broker, etc. provide fairly high leverage so you're able to trade for example 20 times more than you have. Obviously the risks are also greater, but that's for you to decide how much you're willing to risk.
From personal experience, it can be rewarding if you know what you're doing, but i'd wait for a period of trending (in Bitcoin). You wanna stay out of this chop, or the chinaman will take your corns!

What Altcoins do you recommend for someone who is a beginner in trading Altcoins? I think the minimum nowadays for trading Altcoins would be 0.00010000 BTC, so with that amount you have the potential to make a bunch of money from a few cents.

If you pay attention to big announcements, new technology coming out and services adopting a coin as a new payment method,
you can (possibly) get out in front of a coin before it hits big.
But its a lot of work, and you have to put in your research.
Diversifying your funds into a couple coins probably helps in case one of them hits it big.
(Unless you have some hot tip/ inside information)

Yes starting very small would be just fine, since you want to start "TRADING" that's really nice. The strategies you will learn it from successful traders here, just stick to your plan in starting to trade so you won''t be confused on different ideas presented to you here. Eventually keep on doing trades until you will be much more well rehearsed in the process of trading.

If you have a very small amount then the best way is to either get more bitcoin by buying or by trading the cheapest alt coins you can find.
Any other option is invalid, you could also try to earn some bitcoin without investing your own ofcourse.

Trading with a very small amount is difficult to do cause you don't have money to buy up enough to make nice profit.
But if you trade with coins that are of low value too then you have the most chance to actually make profit.

Maybe if you want to try trading for the first time we can start trading with less money. It used to be if we lose we do not have a lot of losses, due to profit on the trade we should be able to learn the trade. Or there are some sites that provide demo trading and it can be used to get to know the trade.

but if some one has no such a good amount of bitcoin and still he want to invest it, then what will he do? i think he should invest the small amount of bitcoin in alt coins, because there he can really get an opportunity to get a good amount of alts with a very very low price and then it can make a good profit for him.
