I dont think you should start trading with a small amount because you wont make any profit with just small amounts if you want to make money with tradings you need to deal with more.
but if some one has no such a good amount of bitcoin and still he want to invest it, then what will he do? i think he should invest the small amount of bitcoin in alt coins, because there he can really get an opportunity to get a good amount of alts with a very very low price and then it can make a good profit for him.

0.1 btc is already big if you are only a small-time earner. To those students like me who don't have a job right now 0.1 is already big. It is equivalent for our 1 month allowance. It's possible to get 1000% profit on some altcoins if they get hyped very much but it doesn't happens always.

If the person is new to the are, he should research it first, know the sorroundings and environment, look for possible coins to trade by checking this forum. This is also an another way on maximizing your capital even if you have small amount to invest but with those bounties you could somewhat extent the possibilities to trade in bigger scales since bounty and capital are being tied up which is really an advantage for you but you would need some effort to attain that.

I'm gonna do a little "math" to exemplify better:
**I'll explain in brazilian local currency (BRAZILIAN REAL)**
1) Buy 0.1BTC in Localbitcoins for R$208.00;
2) Make an announcement in Mercado Livre (www.mercadolivre.com.br) ... it's affiliate (subsidiary) of Ebay but works in Latin America;
3) The announcement could be R$280.00... paying the taxes (16%) to Mercado Livre for the best announcement (what offers 12x instalments without extra interests, it will result in:
16% of R$280 is R$44,80
R$280.00 - 44,80 = 235,20
The profit is: 235,20 - 208 = R$27,20
Total of profit: 9.71%
It's not so much, but if you do 5 transactions in a day, you double your money in 2 days.

To start trading with a very small amount you need to trade with stuff that costs very small. For example if you are trading with alt coins then buy cheap ones only.
The expensive ones you wont be able to buy alot of them making not much profit.
