That is an unfortunate truth for the crowd of the gamblers everywhere, even here , however you can still try to save yourself by asking help. There are a lot of websites which offers help, just do a fast search on google and try hard, thats the only way to quit gambling without you returning to the bad habits.

I think you need at least a personal interaction with people to be able to heal your gambling problem, you need to seek help and talk to your family and friends that are really close to you.

Absolutely, playing games without money stake on it is boring. That is only good for the kids but for us adults we want some extraordinary excitement and if possible we want to earn from gambling.

Gambling is different, the feeling while gambling is very high, the thrill you can feel is extraordinary when there is money involved that is why most people prefer to gamble than playing PS4 IMO.

That's true. When I try to control my urge on a virtual slot machine instead of gambling with fiat currency, I actually don't feel the thrill of gambling anymore. Because I know that there are infinite amount of credits available, and if I lose, it doesn't matter to me.

The best way I know of is to go completely cold turkey. This has proven to work for me personally. Just detox yourself for a few weeks/months, and you'll be able to go back to your normal lives.
