You are doing the right thing, you focus yourself in you other hubbies.If you can keep up doing it, you will be successful in staying away from gambling. This is for those people who are weak in gambling which can easily be dictated by their emotions while doing gambling. Good gamblers are those who only treat it as for fun.

i am getting addicted to gambling.And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

If you do not have money, I'm sure you will stay away from gambling. But the best option to stay away is find another activity or control yourself and dont open/visit the gambling site.

Gambling is only for individual who knows how to treat it right, gambling should be fun so treat it as an entertainment where you have to pay to enjoy the show. If anyone gamble don't expect huge return and let it go when you experienced losses.
I guess theres no way you can stop from gambling if your using internet and bitcoin in gambling, because internet and bitcoin will never be gone. And as long you have a bitcoin its hard to stop gambling if you are used to it. But if like casinos in some other places, maybe you can avoid it, bring always,your family to a trip and never go to a place like casinos even its only toys for kids. Because there are tendency that you will back being a gambler, so much better to go like restaurants and a movie trip.

Staying away from gambling is pretty easy if you compare it with other addictions, I think gambling is purely about self controlling.
If you can control yourself there would not be any problem and you can easily stop with it in my eyes.

I also think this can be a good way to stop with gambling and find something else, tell your friends that you want to do something.

You might call me strange but in such conditions this actually works : Start to drink and stop using internet , this way after sometime you will be badly addicted to alcohol but actually leave gambling, then you can treat your alcohol addiction easily as its a physical hobby and not just a virtual or online hobby.
This will not work, you are just replacing a bad habit with another bad habit. Worst case scenario, you get addicted to both and you will end up a drunkard gambler. And you'll always lose because you bet drunk. This is the fastest way to lose money not quit gambling. Get professional help, it's better if you are not afraid to ne judged.
i tried staying away from gambling, butttttt i cant, its always calling me back poker, sportsbet and dice, this 3 are my vices the temptation is strong

That is a good idea of blocking some particular sites which you feel you are addicted to. But investing is another kind of gambling with low risk, basically investments hardly ever pay you more than what you invested, unless they are legit investments.
haha, that is not going to work because a block is never going to stop an addict from accessing the site unless they ask someone else to do the blocking for them.
because even if you block the site for example by adding it to your Anti virus or firewall you can always remove the restriction with 1 click and even password protecting the AV is not going to work because you will know the password.
