That's a good idea to stay away from gambling, but only block gambling sites to stop you play it,
to stay away from gambling back to the reason and your determination that you already loss more than you can afford. Try to tell your friend or family to always remind about disadvantages of gambling.

Though it is one way, but I don't think that it is effective...You know how you did it, for sure you will just unblock it when you can't stop your urge anymore... It will only be effective if you do not know how to use your computer or if you really wanted to stop gambling... If you are sharing a network and computer with someone else, then let them do it so you don't know how they do it and what's the password they put in it...

It is difficult to stay away from gambling for a person who has been for years in this. The earlier you realize the better it is to stay away. This addiction brings includes many things like recover and win more. you are right some how. gambling is pretty much similar to drug. gambling not only loose your money, it cause you loose your wealth and your personality too. a hardcore addicted gambler don't get any respect in community and society, I know some gamblers who sell their home equipment and do gamble because they are addicted to gamble and can't live without gambling. for me to stop playing gambling is very difficult. we should really stay away from an intermediary who can connect us to the gambling games. such as internet and computers. when computers and the Internet did not exist then we can stop playing gambling.

Discipline is very important if you want to stay away from gambling because without discipline you are going to keep on gambling. You can actually stay easily if you do not have money to gamble anymore, the most effective way for me is to gamble all your money and once your bankroll will be busted and you lose a lot of money that would make you realize that gambling is not good for you.

Well that is true gambling is really deceitful if you are an addicted gambler and you are helping yourself. Your heart is going to beat and something is going to come into your mind that you can't help yourself if you are not going to gamble even for a day. BUt if you are going to fight against it, for sure you are going to stay away from gambling in the end.

Totally agree with this. You don't even really have some medications in order to stay away from gambling. The best medicine of getting out to gambling if it destroy your life and get too much addicted to it is - the will power!
