See? it's not really the gambling site or keeping your self away from it that could make you change.. It is your strong will.. I too, when I want to stay away from gambling, I tried doing that, I stayed at the gambling site and chat, til I get used to it just chatting without betting...

Yup! you just need to put your very will and faith in GOD to take away your addiction praying would certainly help too, well I'm just staying here in gambling section for sharing the truth about gambling but as most addicted person would do, they will need time to regain themselves from addiction and certainly a good advice will made them realize how gambling works.

There are many ways to avoid gambling one of which is to be busy with other things . Devote free time playing online games or sports . And do not think you were invincible in the past for not considering a return to gambling . When you think of the losses were primarily to compensate think so should abandon it and return no more . And self- discipline as that to cope with it .

quitting gambling is easy only if you were not yet drawn too deep. But for those persons who was totally addicted to it then we really can't say that there would be an easy way to quit addiction. As what they have said prevention is better than cure.

making yourself busy with other hobbies to occupy your time is a good way of staying away from gambling but don't forget you should stay away from gambling and all gambling related stuff if you are an addict so gambling forums included.

It is certain, because addiction is a difficult thing to be eliminated if not done in a way that is a bit forced. Addiction is a disease that can only be done when we can press our mind not to do gambling.

Yes it is very difficult for the one who is addicted to eliminate the fee of addiction in him cause of the difficulties in taking these off you mind that is why certain medication are needed, but a forceful elimination of these addiction would not be very successful cause it will need the cooperation of the addicted and the care of the love ones, and yes the addicted person should submit himself freely and not by forced.

Yes and you can divert your mind by going out for holidays with friends and family and that will help you in keeping away from gambling but you also need to have self discipline to do that.

Nice suggestion, take one of the factor to be able to gamble and you might eventually stop gambling. This might work to those who are not yet really addicted to gambling. But to addicts, they will still make ways to get hold some of the money to be able to continue gambling. They can filch some from their payroll before they give it to their wife.

If you are not addicted you can leave gambling anytime you want. But once you become addicted I am afraid the only suggestion I find valid in this thread is that to get help. Find a good daily job to keep you busy for the most part of the day and you should be good. You will forget gambling eventually. Think of your coins if you are betting with them as something of big value so try to save them. Better click on faucets if you have the urge of wanting to gamble. Read a good book or watch a good movie. Anything that will make you forget about gambling will do.

That's great, but I bet, it won't work...

A gambler becomes smarter than he is when his urge to gamble enters... For sure, he can still gamble without a money...Maybe he would take a loan or try his luck in faucets...

Working on day job is still the best solution to this problem or keep your self busy... Imagine when you your self has nothing to do, for sure, lots of ideas come into your mind, so keep on doing something..

Yes it is very difficult to stop gambling if it is long gamble. It would appear the feeling of wanting to bet. If you want to really stop should stay away from gambling and should resist the feeling of wanting to gamble. If we can hold to bet we will be able to leave gambling.

Some people cannot stop on their own. They need someone to make them stop. I see this over and over again on real life.

A gambling addiction is similar to a drug addiction. You forget to think about consequences, you only focus about winning. It is very hard to get out of such an addiction by yourself.

Yup if we have God's blessing we can do anything. But in this situation, God means according to me our Parents. Yes, only our parents can help us to come out from this gambling. Ans also we need very strong willpower. Then it is easy to get out from Gambling.
