We all know that cigarette is addictive. For me,  if you really want to quit in smoking you just need to discipline yourself first.It is important that you know how to control yourself and you have a courage to do it.

Think about trying some of these activities:  you have to do exercise, get out of the house for a walk. Chew gum or hard candy. Keep your hands busy with a pen or toothpick, or play a game. Drink lots of water. Relax with deep breathing. Go to a movie. Spend time with non smoking friends and family. By this person can stop smoking.

First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?




I specially read books about the dangers of smoking for this purpose and it helped me one year already to quit smoking.

Their is no best way to quit smoking than just to determine that this thing you don't want to do it again and when determining you need to quit all what always makes you to remember smoking weed like those people you roll with.

stop smoking by motivating and disciplining yourself. because it is for your own good..health is wealth..you can alternate smoking by a chewing a gum or candies.. and keep your self busy..

It needs a great motivation to quit smoking. I smoke since 15 years ago, and until now I have not been able to eliminate the craving of smoking. Many have advised me to quit smoking for health reasons. But the fact remains, it is not easy to leave the habit of smoking.

If you really want to quit then it is possible to stop smoking, irrespective of how long you have been in to this habit. Thanks to the advancement in the medical technology, quitting cigarettes is easier now. You can try ecigarettes or nicotine gum, if you are facing withdrawal symptoms. Tutorials are available in YouTube, on how to deal with the withdrawal symptoms.

Well, we all know that smoking is not good for one's health so it is up to you on how are you going to manage smoking. It's not totally bad after all, but everything that is much isn't good, that is why we have laws that saves us with that negative effects of it. Laws that will guide us with the right things to do in terms of smoking. Just try to minimize smoking slowly until your system stops accepting it.

the best way to stop or lessen smoking is to stay away with the people who smokes. because once you smell it and saw people smoking you will find the urge to do so.

Smoking is very dangerous for our health because cigarettes has a nicotine that can actually harm our health. Yes, it is very hard to stop from smoking but if you are very determined to stop smoking then you can stop smoking.  So stop smoking while you have enough time for you to change.

I am a chain smoker before, and like you I find really hard to quit. But then my body started to feel unusual effects. Then my doctor advised me to gradually help myself to quit. It is so hard, but I first set my mind that I have to. After that, whenever I want to smoke, I eat my stress reliever instead. I go to gym every day so that I will feel tired and avoid to smoke.

It is really hard to stop what you are always doing. One step at a time. Do not stop directly it so hard. If you smoke 6 times a day, then make it 4 time a day in span of 3 months after you have already adjusted.  Make it lower until such time that your system will not be needing cigarette anymore.
