I am one of smoker when i was a teenager but not totally addicted to it. It was easy to stop if you really mean it you can reduce stick by stick little by little. You can take candies or gum as a replacement.

Glad to hear that you could stop smoking without much effort. But how many months it took to stop consuming these nicotine gums? Or do you still consume them? Nicotine gum is not 100% harmless.

for me its very easy to stop smoking. 1st if you smoke 3pcs per day or above you must slowly reduce the total amount that you smoke everyday.until the time will come that you can totally stop..

Actually it's hard to stop smoking, but  I think it is possible for quitting unless not to buy it. In this case it depends to individuals if he/she could consistently quitting for it. Money is the first reason because if we have a cash in our wallet it is possible that we could spend something for our individual desires.

For me workes the first method you presented, exept that each time when i had a desire to smoke i was thinking that i already walked some miles and it would be a disappointment to give up after all that struggle and after some time (8 m,onts - 1 year) the desire vanished.

Smoking is a dangerous think even it may destroy our heart inspite of knowing it's devastation men are able to addict different kinds of drug like nicotine,marijuana and puff so rasing awareness and become concious more about these things we can stop smoking

Many people believe that quitting smoking is very difficult, of course, it can be difficult because of the addictive nature of nicotine. However, with the right approach, you can kick the cravings. A lot of approaches have been put across pertaining to ceasing smoking - however, some work better than others. First:
1. You must have the mindset of quitting smoking
2. Have a plan. Set goals, if possible write them down as this works perfectly fine for most people
3. Seek for the right support. Medical and psychological support. Do not intend to quit smoking all on your own.

First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?



When you have been addicted to smoking, then it is not easy to stop smoking. but if we want for sure we can.you can Set a quit date.you can Tell family, friends, and co-workers that you plan to quit.you can Talk to your doctor about getting help to quit.

Quite smoking is not easy especially when you are addicted already for so many years of cigarettes. But if you have a strong determination of yourselves to stop it, i think you can do it an become a smoke free person someday. Make it gradually if you want to stop it.

two steps you can try to stop smoking:
1. drink water instead in time when you want to smoke
2. Chews swing gum or candy as replacement for cigarettes

Stopping quickly at all will not help you. You should do it very slowly. If you smoke 10 cigarettes a day, make it 9 then 8 another week until you only smoke 1 and then after that you are getting close stopping at all.

If and only If you really wanted to stop smoking, that's really depends on you. And isn't it marvelous that you are quitting from your addiction? How? Set your plan on when to start not to smoke and do it in action not in words only. Tell your family and the people around you about your plan. There are challenges you'll be facing about your plan..Enjoy your freedom and live a smoke free life.
