First of thanks for every suggestion. I slowly over the years became a smoker. I became aware of my addiction. I tried quiting several timer, but every time I would come back to it and smoke even more.

I tried two things so far:

1. Fully stoping to smoke
2. Gradually reducing

But it backfired every time. How did you stop?

Smoking cigarette can be very hard to quit once you are addicted to nicotine and quitting radically have a negative impact (mood changes, irritability etc). I suggest that you quit smoking slowly. Chewing gums and candies can help and so with inhalers.

Quitting smoking is not easy. Many suggest, if you have never smoked, it is better not to try. Not a few researchers concluded the use of tobacco to cause a number of diseases and the risk of death.

Quitting smoking can take some vitamin C, which works well and has no side effects.

The only thing is that you don't smoke. Don't make any other hobbies.

How to stop smoking. Wow. It's really not funny but it's a reducing process that can help stop what you are been addicted to. Reducing/shifting one's attention from that can also help to stop it. But mostly it is all about discipline.

I'm just laughing !!!
Well, imagine a person smoking for more than 15 years, your advice here is just to want, think with your head and quit - this is nonsense full!
I have been smoking since I was 13 years old, I am now 40 and I do not want to leave it myself - once I do not do it.
"To give up gradually" is a good advice, but basically it's heard from people who have just started, and realized that smoking is not for them, and is harmful.
P.S. SMOKING IS YOUR DEATH !!!

You will never be able to stop smoking at once. Gradually is the best way but it requires much patience and will power

The best way to stop smoking is stop smoking at once. It will help.
I think it will be difficult to immediately stop at once let alone those who have heavy smokers. you can reduce it gradually, which is usually 1 day 1 pack try to 1 day 1/2 pack. this way you will get used to and can stop smoking.

I need to read all of the tips posted here... since im trying to quit smoking too
i can consume 1pack/day.. my biggest problem to quit smokings are i used to go out and have a chit chatwith my friends, thats the biggest temptation for me to not smoking

Smoking here in India is often associated with socializing. If you have joined a new company, then the best method to make more friends is to go out with your colleagues and smoke with them. This mentality prevents those who want to quit the habit of smoking from doing so.
