This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
In my opinion, we should not tolerate kids to initiate in the bitcoin industry. Not only because their instinct is just to play, we do not teach them the appropriate money management. Yet, bitcoin would help but not appropriate for kids. By simply teaching them the proper discipline like saving 20 percent savings from their allowance, it may hep them to be more disciplined in holding  money.

I think when this gets made, you can sit with your kids, play and explain.  Grin

this is definitely what kid needs, knowing bitcoin through playing, even it will make them more happy and earning money if the game was rewarding a bitcoin for every winnings, just my hope that you will not add a betting feature because it would harm the child

Its meant to be a game i believe, physical not digital.  And i agree this is not the end all be all to teaching kids, but kids do learn how to count money asses their account and what to spend/not spend, this is the same thing just in btc format

I doubt it would have much effect, just another Monopoly iteration.
Kids are already getting into Bitcoin because they are curious by their nature, well some kids at least.

Some game isn't going to get a lot of people into Bitcoin, plus the chances that that one will ever be made are slim.

I am too concern about my child, I won't feed about money or bitcoin in the early stage. Once his age crossed more than 16. then I would teach these stuffs to him to make bitcoin with the skills not with fauceting.

How old is your child now? You can already start to teach him about claiming some satoshi's so as he grow up he can be exposed to bitcoin already.

And it can give him a background for teaching him the hardway of earning bitcoins. That will not be hard for your child.

Because faucets, playing games for satoshi's will be as fun as playing some games with your child's tab.

For me kid are not good to teach about bitcoin you only waste your time since they are not interested yet about earnings much better to teach them to learn more in school but not about earning.

Good point mate. Most kids are more into playing and studying and it's really a hard job for you to interest them in bitcoins.. they won't understand it until they will become independent from their parents and live on their own. Kids are not matured enough yet.. you may interest some but not a lot.
agree with you, do not force young children to know what they should not know, even still too early for them to know about the money, I do not know what should be learned by young children, but I know they will never understand if you tell them about the financial system, including cryptocurrency (bitcoin) so you're just doing a futile

That's right bro, and i think instead of forcing them to know and learn what they should not know yet why not forcing them to focus on their study especially the teenagers as it will give them bright future and they can possibly can earn a good profit after of their sacrifice on school . And maybe it could be nice idea if we will tell them about bitcoin and teach them how to earn let them discover it themselves without our guide .

Teaching kids the basic concept of bitcoin is not a bad idea but if you forced your kid to earn bitcoin or you're using a kid to earn money then it wil be a bad idea.

At some point we will teach our children about money or someone will because it is an important part of our lives.
As per the modern education system, we should not enforce anyone to learn something which are out of their prescribed syllabus until they themselves will need them.

So, we should not teach our kids about bitcoin on our own wish, because it might deviate their academic progress. I believe the idea of teaching kids about bitcoin must be coming from letting them to use faucets in their free time. Then, I must be completely against about teaching kids about bitcoins.

It is not right to teach bitcoin to kids because they are too young to handle money and they are more interested in playing. Being a kid is fun but its short so let them enjoy their childhood.

I am also agreeing to others that we should teach bitcoin to teens instead. Because I am one of the teens that got interested in bitcoin tho there is only one year left before I reach the the legal age.
Apparently there are also kids that do not enjoy their childhood because of the bullies, parents separation, etc. Not every kid has an enjoyable childhood and I think most of us had some bad experience in childhood. It's not all fun for some of us.

In your case, you were working through the use of bitcoin even before you finish teenage stage. There are also kids out there that has to work even though their age are far from being appropriate. Most of them work for small-scale fast food chains and gets adopted by the owner. That's often the case in my country. In other places, kids are baby sitting the child of their neighbor, mowing the lawn, etc.

What I mean here is that its also important that you introduce your kids into doing bitcoins because you don't know when are you going to die as a parent. If you did die and your kid has to work on his own, then bitcoin might be his key to support himself. I know that the kid is supposed to be adopted by the immediate relatives of the parent but that's not always the case. Consider introducing bitcoin to your kid as your back up plan for him just in case you die or get separated for some reason.
What is the relationship of kids being bullied that prevents them to learn Bitcoin? Or handling money in general? I know it is early for them to handle money in general but being bullied by someone won't stop them from learning anything. Kids have different likes in life and they are different from one another. But it is important that an early stage they know how to save money for their future.

I think that the child should know how to make cryptocurrency. But in any case it is impossible to force him to do it.
The child should be taught that there is a kind of currency like Bitcoin. And the time comes he will understand all

In my opinion, I think introducing bitcoins to the kids are a little complicated, because kids are not really business minded especially when they are in the age of 8-15. They just want to play with the other kids, have a good time, chill in their rooms, watching TV and so on. The right time to introduce bitcoin to them is when they are old enough to understand this kind of stuff and what kind of benefits that this bitcoin will cause to their lives.

Bitcoin as a earning source seems to be good for teenagers and above age group. If kids were taught about bitcoin they will miss lot of other childhood fun and happiness which would never come back again. Better is to teach them when they get interest of their own let them learn.
What's specifically type of earning you are talking? In bitcoin it does not guarantee an earning, and only when you world will make you earn, I guess working here will only give you a little income and it's not consistent as well, what a teenager should do is to study bitcoin so they an earn big in the future.

I think modern kids are adjusting to new inventions very fast, so there really isn't much of a problem with that. Apart from fast adaptations, they are not familiar with what money should be like, so I don't think there is much difference between paper cash, credit card and bitcoin for them.

Exactly, kids today are good for what is the new inventions with the technology today. But usually you can just easily teach them how to claim from faucets or play some app games that rewards few satoshi's. Because I don't think that you need to be broad upon teaching them completely with bitcoin because it might get them confuse about it.
Kids should be more focus on other things that will help their childhood to be productive, bitcoin is still not good for them as it's not the right time to invest with it. You can only tell them when they will ask first as for sure they are interested, it's hard to teach kids about bitcoin as it is a serious way of transaction online.
Well, you are right bitcoin is not yet good for the kids to be taught, they must focus their time on some important things. They need to learn the basics of life and study on what the school had taught them, bitcoin is for advance mind or matured people and kids are just minors.

Agreed,  bitcoin and gambling, and other type of things are not made for kids, Because these all things need time taking and mind blowing work, So better is that avoid it all, and also with the time every kinds can learn and know about them, than no problem when passing the time they know them, but in this time, we all know that bitcoin not made for kinds, but some poor kinds can earn bitcoin from play the games.
